Granted. Instead, we tell them to malevolent genies who don't even make the corruption entertaining!

I wish people wouldn't corrupt genuine wishes.

Granted. They implement rules like mandatory butt-sniffing upon greeting, and mandatory chasing of thrown objects in every context. "For your own good".

I wish for a pet cat that doesn't bugger off when I pick it up to cuddle.

Granted, thousands of spiders are crawling beneath your skin for weeks before bursting out and killing your loved ones.

I wish a certain seemingly hyper fox-loving guy had eaten way too much sugar and was in Worldmaster27's house.

Granted, however someone misheard you and replaces FABULOUS with FEROCIOUS.  This is now a really strange bloodbath.
