Age/size of spawned creatures
« on: February 08, 2015, 05:03:39 pm »

When creatures spawn in-game, how old are they?

(I.e. if a creature increases drastically in size over its life, how big can I expect it to when I encounter it?)

Engraved on the floor is a well-designed image of a kobold and a carp.  The kobold is making a plaintive gesture.  The carp is laughing.

Creatures are born mostly in legends mode (non-megabeast animals will spawn while you play).    Creatures grow through legends/fortmode/advmode.

For animals like dragons which takes thousands of years to grow to full size youll have to generate (or play) a world for a few millennium in order to have max sized dragons.
