Which is very fast indeed, at least until you reach the grand staircase.

Birdy feels something rushing at him very quickly, and then vanishing just as fast. Between the suddenness and his having to catch himself from falling down the stairs, he doesn't manage to catch a glimpse of his attacker.

"M-maybe it was a g-goast!", Peradon's dog stutters.

No. If possible, make an attack against invisible foes with my imaginary cane. The enemy cannot stand against my armaments! If I cannot attack them, remain on the Grand Staircase anyways.

They're not budging. Either they're a very convincing living statue, a very realistic ragdoll, or they're dead. Welp.
