The man starts to advance towards you with a syringe, instincts kick in, and you charge into him knocking him off his feet and he loses grip on the syringe, which rolls into the hallway right outside the door. Quickly getting to your feet, you leave the room into the hallway. You look quickly around to find a place to run; to the left has many doors to what you assume to be other patient rooms, along with a door at the end that's closed and to the right has fewer doors, a medical doctor facing away from you, and a sign that says stairs on second to last door on the left.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

You start searching for some air vents quickly down both halls. Your eyes scan down the left hall, not finding anything that resembles a vent, and again down the right hall. Failing to find anything, you start to run towards the door with the sign of stairs on it. You hear a shout from behind you.

"You! Stop! Doctor grab the man!"

The doctor turns but just presses his body against the wall to prevent you from running him down. You open the door to the staircase, there are stairs going up and down with no inclination as to how far you are above or under ground.

Go up! They wont expect that! When we get to the top, walk calmly(unless its obvious they know where we are) and enter a random room. Close the door behind us.

You decide to ascend up the stairs as you quickly deduce that they wouldn't expect it. You go up two floors and rush into the hallway. You see a few people walking down the hall. You walk as natural as you can past one of them, he is about to question where you're going, but you slip into a room without reading the sign.

The room is the size of a small office, it has a chair behind and in front of a desk, a bookshelf beside the door, and a mini-fridge in the corner.

You look at your clothing, you have a hospital gown on that provides no protection. You look around the room for some other sort of clothing and you fail to find anything in the room. However, you do manage to find a man size vent shaft in the wall behind the desk.

You find a few empty lunch boxes and take the only unopened water bottle inside the mini-fridge. You go to the vent and as you're opening it you hear shouting outside the room. Quickly you climb into the vent and pull it closed.

Inside the vent you can go left, forward, or right, at this time you see no difference in the vent paths.
