Sean is in the hanger, with clipboard in hand, ensuring requisitions were in order. He's wearing his standard issue greatcoat and peaked cap, which are ever so slightly larger than his size.

Iris walks in, carefully treading around to make sure she isn't interfering with work.

Rumman stretches back in a rickety chair in the hangar tent, seeming to be forever on the verge of toppling backwards onto the floor. A simple military cap sits on his head. Keen grey eyes track the arrivals before settling back onto the camoflaged, bulky form of his Machinehead.

After a moment, he leans forward and barks out to Sean; 'Corporal! Any idea when we'll be heading out? If I have to watch one more mechanic scratch my paintjob, I'm going to have a heart attack.'

"Soon enough, soldier, and when we get some proper action, your paint job will be the least of your worries. Enjoy the R&R while it lasts."

A wry smile rose on Rumman's lips. 'Corporal, lad, I've been doing this since before you were a flutter in your mother's belly. In that time, I've had enough R&R for three lifetimes. Now, I don't think they'd have put you in charge without good cause, but is this going to be your first scrap? We're in for a good one, I'd wager.'

Mydoki was cleaning her revolver in the barracks, whistling the Terralbian Anthem poorly. She still had her military cadet coat. Supplies had been short, and she hadn't been provided a full military one.

"Fair enough, I suppose. First scrap inside a mecha, since I've had a few dummy runs outside them as a footslogger. I was being considered for elite infantry before ending up here."

Lionan follows Iris around, slightly awestruck at the amount of giant killer robots inside that one building.

"The specifications of these mecha. Before I was enlisted, I used to be part of the people who made these."

"You did? But.. no offense, but you seem rather.. young."

"I've been tinkering with old mechs since I could hold up a wrench, and my parents were also mech developers."
