"...Will do, General Aysel. Aurelio, out." Tonya said, sipping her coffee. Not bad for a trial run...

Tonya stamped over and affixed her arms to the former mecha of the leader. After a few moments, she pried a piece of Zebra striped square metal from the wreckage bearing the mech ID and manufacturer's symbol. She held it up in one triple-jointed claw.
 
"Good work, everyone-the 25th has claimed it's first trophy!"

Her musings were interrupted as hidden snipers opened up the other Tonya.

"Victory, at least for now."

Iris gets no-scoped as she climbs out of her tank.
"And the same to you, Trevor." Iris sighs in relief as she leans back in her chair, slumping and breathing heavily.

She did it. She survived battle. She'd survived.

At first, she couldn't believe it- of course, that illusion was quickly broken by her superior's comments on the radio, followed by the inevitable chatter.

Tonya is busy tying the surrendered enemies up with a length of rope he produced from the back of her mech.

Tonya A. begins dragging the scrap (with the help of others) into a neat pile for the engineers, and ferrets out the injured enemy pilots from the wreckage-she even manages to extract that one poor guy before he was crushed by his own mech, 'gently' nudging him over to the prisoner pile.

Her radio crackles.

"Everyone take a breather. Suggest you stay near your mechs for the time being, though I understand if you need some fresh air-feel free to take it. I certainly am."

Tonya. A finishes and sets her mech-down, popping the cab and enjoying the feeling of wind and light rain on her face.

Iris eventually gets out of the Edelweiss and helps sort the scrap, using her knowledge of mech parts as a former engineer to sort the parts into useful salvage and scrap metal to be melted down.

Tonya kneels by Iris, pointing out useful things to Iris.

"Look there-K14 springs! A good find. Non-standard parts. Figure the fellow who drove her was a tinker...might take them myself. I've only got D11-Rounsies in mine. Paffh.

See anything that catches your eye, Private Lindemann? I'm not adverse to my pilots getting the choice pick before the jockeys get to it."

Lionan climbs quickly out of Vulpis Minor as well. The hidden bazooka vet ensures his chastity is eternal. _{elf gets it}

"Oh, man. That was great.
Well, it actually kind of sucked, and I kind of want to punch someone, but it could have gone a lot worse."

As soon as Tonya M. finishes up her job she goes back to Dragan. She pulls out a pack of smokes. She goes back over to the pile and starts offering them cigarettes.

Tonya A. shakes her head.

"Private, don't you know smoking is bad for your health?" She says wryly.

"I was actually hoping to find some of their weapon calibrators or control consoles, even if they were ruined. I'd like to analyse them myself, Sergeant.

You see, I was working on a design for an improved controller that made mechs respond faster to commands in addition to making the use feel smoother. It was a bit unorthodox and unpolished, but I was testing it on an old Ishim model....."
Iris then launches into a very technological term-packed retelling of her attempts to revolutionise Terralban mech control schemes. Judging from the terms, it seems she more than knows her way around the things, too.

Lacie slowly climbed out of mech, stretching as she did so. There was a smile on her face as she looked towards the fleeing enemy, they had done well. She landed smoothly on the ground and sat down, resting against Freedom.

Averus climbs out of his mech, and walks over to the enemy pilots, to organize their custody. Along the way he inspects the derelict mechs for better parts.

Trevor pops out, searching among the remains of the mechs, looking for some better parts.
