I pretty much finished my character. I decided to make a woman to try something new.

Any of you played Choice of Broadsides?

It's interesting. It's set in a standard swashbuckling setting, where you play as a captain in the English navy-but you can choose to play a woman. The thing is, you do that, the entire setting is skewed to a female dominated world, instead one biased toward males. The entire British navy is made of women. I found it extremely amusing.

The place for a man is domestic, rearing the children and making a pleasant home for his wife. We put men up on a pedestal so that they do not need to face the hardships that women are more constitutionally suited to bear.

Honestly, it's not like it'll make the war any nicer. I think a setting shift could be interesting to play. ;p

Excellent. That means we're up to 8 players who have submitted sheets, and 4 more who have expressed interest. Of course I'm not expecting everybody who expressed interest to actually join, and there's probably a few interested players who aren't online at the moment. But this does mean that we'll start very soon, probably on Saturday or Sunday at the latest.

Oh, my gosh.  I just tried this game, and they actually did this really subtly, down to referring to ships as "him" instead of "her."  That's actually rather clever. ^_^

Definitely. The Hamkar was made mostly to introduce transformations and how they work. Future mechs will use them much more extensively.
