Remember that I'm imagining all of this.
(3-1)you run onto the playground and start herding children,
"Go, it's not safe, it's not safe, come on, go now!" Though deep inside, you believe these threats are not all real, somehow, you just can't help yourself. Other adults come out and start herding their kids away rom you, but there are still kids around without their parents. Teens laugh and point.
Stealthily take a peek at what is going on at the park
(3)Some crazy woman is running around on the playground. Are the shadows in the woods behind you ... moving? And what's with the sky color? That looks ominous.
"She's nuts. Someone should do something" a guy nearby says to you. You look over, startled, and realize you have walked out of the woods and are leaning on the fence along with several others.
Get the gun with ammo, the vehicle with gas, pay for them and return home.
(3) You cycle out to the man's trailer, and buy the gun. turns out, he hasn't got any ammo, though. It starts raining as you near his place so you swap survival tips and stories for a while to wait out the rain. It never dies completely, but you manage to bike home in a dreary drizzle instead of a pouring rain.
You.
Convey in my limited understanding (at present) of language that his behaviour is unnerving me.
(1)
"Potato. Potatopotatopotatopotato." Unnerved by the social interaction, you regress a bit. Inside, you are screaming out actual words and phrases, but you can't gt your mouth to cooperate.
Close my eyes tightly, and repeat "they're all in my head. They're all in my head."
(1-1)You all into the darkness, hands reaching out to pull you in, screams returning to haunt you - not that they ever truly leave. There's so much blood - your hands are coated in the stench of it. it won't come out of your clothes. the hands grip tighter, and the sobbing begins. Eyeless stares lock with your gaze, and your lungs feel like they are on fire.
Starn peers back.
"Uh huh."
Stare at him to convey that he is being bizarre.
(2)your conversation partner's verbal shift takes you by surprise, and you stare speechless for a minute while he babbles about potatoes, his eyes darting quickly, and his hands raised up toward you, as if somehow beseeching you for help.
