Hey guys, I have some ideas for how this game can work for next round.

That might be just what this game needs to be a little more interesting. Though there are some drawbacks.

I stated I'm the friend. I have no reason to lie. Even if I die, should you win the round, I win. As per the current gamerules.

In this case, he might be the friend, since you weren't the lover and you didn't claim friend.

I can't claim either one without damning myself. If I claimed lover, you would not believe me, since I've been lover twice already (and consecutively!), and thus I'd be putting myself at the top of your suspicion list. And to claim clone is to mark myself for later elimination, once the less obvious ones are weeded out. Without voting in this round, there is no reason for the lover to attempt the gambit of pretending to be a clone. However, since you're prioritizing those who don't claim for elimination, that puts me in a bit of a catch 22.

That's not how random chance works. If you had fakeclaimed lover twice, I'd have been suspicous. Right now, I just want everyone to claim.

I'm going to treat this as a "lover" claim, since you pretty much confirmed that you're not the Best Friend.

I suppose I'll cement that lover claim now, then. But be warned: since 2 pms were spent revealing the identity of the same clone, and the best friend (if that he is) was told of a clone, and not a lover, there is likely no one to corroborate any claims of lover (since if a clone was told, they'd probably keep silent). So, looks like we have a pool of 3 lover claimants with only one way to positively verify.

You might also threaten people to spill their PMs, to see who's been holding out and see if any may be lying.
