Arwen curses at Rex comes under attack, his own body complaining loudly at his continued consciousness. He told it to be quiet for now, that he'd heal up AFTER this... For now, he had a Drake to save. He lunged forward, his blade aiming for the neck of the Winged Kobold in front of him, his lips peeling apart in a snarl.

"ALICE! ELIGNE REX!" He ordered the other Drake, hoping to get some of the attention away from Rex. He didn't want to lose Rex here... He had grown to rather like the lizard.

Attack WK2 and attempt to protect Rex!

Order Alice to Defend Arwen.  Magic Missiles the near dead kobolds.

(Arwen's Melee Attack: 17+7, Success! 5+5 damage! Kobold is kill!)
Cleanly slicing off an arm of the kobold, Arwen barks an order to Alice.
(Arwen's Handle Animal, with Disadvantage: 20 1+0, Failure!)*
Alice doesn't hear the command, too interested in trying to get a piece of meat out of a jar she found.

The kobolds launch their rocks towards Johanna and Rex, aiming to take down the already weakened drake and kill the wizard that murdered their friends in cold blood with ice.
(Snicktsnack's Ranged Attack vs. Johanna: 16, Suc-SHIELD TRIGGERS! Failure!)
(Yarkbark's Ranged Attack vs. Johanna: 19, Failure!)
(Ratrat's Ranged Attack vs. Rex: 9, Failure!)
(Dinkus's Ranged Attack vs. Rex: 15, success! 3 damage!)
In response to the attacks, Johanna quickly boosts her mage armor's capabilities, and the pebbles bounce off harmlessly.
Rex doesn't have as much luck, taking one square to the face.

(Mirella's Melee Attack: 14+5+2, Success! 3+3 damage!)
The aged wood of the cleric's staff whistles slightly as it whips through the air, landing with a solid clonk on the head of a winged kobold, shortening them another inch, a sizable difference! They're still kicking, however- but not for long!

(Adrik's Handle Animal: 7+1, Failure!)
Alice remains distracted by the food.
(Adrik's Spell Attack: 16+7, success! 2 damage!)
Another bolt, another kobold down, finishing up the one that Mirella was tangling with.

Johanna wondered why the Gods were screwing with her magic today, but only shook her hand and launched a cloud of poison gas on one of the winged lizards.

Action: Poison spray one of the winged kobolds!

(WK4's CON Save: 4, Failure! 6 damage!)
The kobold tries to hold their breath, but the gas tickles their nose, and they sneeze, gasping for breath shortly after. Their pupils dilate from the gas.

The two remaining winged kobolds advance, knives drawn.
(Winged Kobold 5's Melee Attack vs. Arwen, with Advantage: 12 5, Failure!)
(Winged Kobold 4's Melee Attack vs. Mirella, with Advantage: 9 11, Failure!)
A flurry of knife blows from the kobolds fails to find a gap in the two humans' defenses.

Arwen parries the blows, grimacing at the winded rat in front of him. "How many more of you are there?" He grumbled, his sword tearing through the air towards its next friend!

Introductions are in order. Mr. New Sword, meet Winged Kobold 5's NECK.

(Arwen's Melee Attack: 11+7+3, Success! 4+5 damage! Kobold is kill!)
Judging from the way Mr. New Sword bites into the kobold's neck, Mr. New Sword is either a vampire, or both kinky and horny. Judging from how the kobold's lying on the floor, not moving, it's probably the first one.

(Snicktsnack's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen, with Advantage: 14 19, Success! 4 damage)
(Yarkbark's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen, with Advantage: 10 18, Success! 5 damage!)
(Ratrat's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen, with Advantage: 7 11, Failure!)
(Dinkus's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen, with Advantage; 9 22, Success! 6 damage!)
The kobolds continue to pelt Arwen with rocks with a vengeance, before breaking, and dashing into the shadows, leaving WK4 behind to face the wrath of the party.

(Mirella's Melee Attack: 19+5, Success! 6+3 damage!)
Mirella sweeps the kobold's legs, and firmly hits them on the head, knocking them out. The other kobolds have scampered off into the darkness, with their tails between their legs, so they probably won't be a threat.
The room could be looted, but, judging from the filth, there's little of value. There's also another passageway directly to the south that seems to arch over the entry passageway.

+550 XP gained!
+250 for the normalbolds, +300 for the wingbolds! +138 each!
