"But, additional conversation options can illuminate preliminal interest in potential aggressor objects, ad hoc to said objects undergoing hazardous physical, spiritual and arcane resolutions upon our fleshly singular forms. Without queries, such disfortunate effects may trigger before any significant temporal cognizance."

"Superfluous linguistic noise is not helpful.

For instance: We might not see or hear someone coming if you keep blathering."

It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

"Indeed, a valid point-yet I posit I am currently suffering the effects from airborne fungal spore issue, a minor mental burble as memories related to my exploratory post-collegate experimentation are quite vivid. Once we adjunct our physical/temporal selves from this encirclement of mushroomal bounty, my coherence should become more clear to an organism with lesser intellect processes than myself, of which I can safely confirm is the majority of everyone I know and that exists....except for Melody Curar, my particular acute red-headed bane."

"That would be hastened by increased words per minute."
Argent also looks at the spear.

"...No comment."

"You just did." Johanna said, with a smug wizard grin.

Quietly ignoring the other two, Mirella walked forward, approaching the drop using the wall as cover in order to ascertain what was ahead.

Arwen turns around, looking at both of the talkers, rather annoyed.

"Look here newbie. If I wanna touch the fucking spear, I'm going to touch the spear, and I'm more than capable of handling any trap it may spring. Beyond that, order me again and I'll toss you INTO the room ahead of us to trigger anything in there. Am I clear?"

The ex-guard did not take well to being ordered around.

Arwen goes back to taking the spear.

Johanna was silent for a second before speaking again.

"...Also, might I put forward the suggestion to moderate your temper before committing a fractious error in social judgement? You are clearly suffering from anterior effects similar to my own...perhaps, exacerbated by your recent expulsionary magical episode. Even I have not lost control of my volition, as you can see."

"This is stupid.

You, should try not talking for a bit.

You, should not be threatening the rest of us for wanting to exercise caution.

What if that trap brings out a dozen cultists loaded for dragon, can you handle that?  No.

Also, the 'newbie' wasn't even talking to you."

Arwen sighs.

"I've handled worse. And apparently I can do magic now. So that's a plus. I just don't want whatever left this here to come back and use it on one of us. Is that so wrong?"
