The kobold barracks are up a flight of stairs, at the top of which, Arwen points out a trapped step.
Thin mattresses of straw covered with badly cured furs form small beds that are haphazardly positioned around the chamber. Rats and small lizards scurry through the food scraps and moldy wineskins littering the floor.
In the party's view, three kobolds are hanging out, getting turned up drunk. Two are normal, but one has large, leathery wings. The party unleashes bolts of magical force at them!

(Arwen's Magic Missile damage: 1+1, 1+1, 1+1, 6 damage! K1 dead!)
(Adrik's Magic Missile damage: 4+1, 4+1, 2+1, 13 damage! K2 dead and WK1 dead!)
Three more winged kobolds pour around the corner!

Arwen grins, his grip tightening on his blade as he runs towards the nearest winged Kobold, looking for all the world like an angry blacksmith's shop come to life. He brings down his blade at the kobold's left wing, aiming to lop it off!

Arwen uses his sword on WK3!

Arwen easily bats away the kobold, sending them crashing into the wall. He looks up, scanning the room for his next target...
Oh.
That's a lot of kobolds.
Ten more kobolds swarm out of the shadows, shooting slings at him. A plucky one dashes forward, trying to find a chink in his armor...
(Kobold 6's Melee Attack vs. Arwen: 21, Success! 4 damage!)
Clearly, Arwen's armor is blessed, because it's so holey!
I crack myself up sometimes.
Just like the kobolds who are slinging rocks in his direction. Except they crack Arwen's head.
(Kobold 3's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen, With Advantage: 18 8, Success! 6 damage!)
(Kobold 4's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 21 5, Success! 5 damage!)
(Kobold 5's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 19 22, Success! 3 damage!)
(Kobold 7's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 11 5, Failure!)
(Kobold 8's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 12 8, Failure!)
(Kobold 9's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 13 8, Failure!)
(Kobold 10's Ranged Attack vs. Arwen: 24 14, CRITICAL HIT! 10 damage! Critical effect roll...)
Arwen meets a heavy barrage of rocks shot from slings to his face, and quickly raises his shield to deflect the rest of them. After a moment, the pitter-patter of rocks ceases, and he lowers his shield to engage in melee combat. That is when one last kobold launches a rock with incredible force for a kobold. It hits Arwen's armor, and the metal diffuses the impact across his entire chest. Normally, it would simply bounce off, leaving little mark of its passing. But this pebble was different. Maybe the kobold that launched it whispered a quiet prayer to the foul god he worships before he let it fly. Maybe it was magical. Maybe the kobold was supernaturally strong. Maybe they were just lucky. It's impossible to say.
What can be said is that the impact is massive, and dents Arwen's armor heavily. He can hear the crack of some ribs, and the wind is knocked out of him.

Mirella watches as Arwen races ahead of everyone else, only to stagger under a hail of pebbles.  "..."  She rushes after him, healing spell at the ready.

Move to Z16, cast Cure Wounds (1st) on Arwen

Mirella invokes the prayer of The Waxing Moon, and with a flash of silvery light, Arwen's wounds close. He's still exhausted- restoring a drained body is beyond the basic healing magic Selune grants to her servants.

Command the drakes to attack the kobolds!
If possible, also twinned Ray of Frost kobolds near Arwen.

(Six Dexterity Saves: Two Failures, Four Successes! 5+1 damage, half for successes!)
The initial shard of ice slams into a kobold, the ice shattering as they were thrown back with the force of the impact. Two more kobolds crumple under the blast, while the rest manage to stand against the hail of ice.

The winged kobolds advance on the front line, and gang up on Rex. One even swoops over the drake's head, dropping rocks the size of a dwarf's head!
(Winged Kobold 2 Melee Attack vs. Rex, with Advantage: 6 24, Success! 5 damage!)
(Winged Kobold 4 Melee Attack vs. Rex, with Advantage: 14 18, Success! 5 damage!)
(Winged Kobold 5 Melee Attack vs. Rex, with Advantage: 10 13, Success! 4 damage!)
(Winged Kobold 6 Ranged Attack vs. Rex: 11, Failure!)
The kobolds on the ground climb all over Rex, relentlessly stabbing him. Rex's attempts to throw them off is mostly ineffective, but he does manage to dodge the stones dropped from above.
