It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

Arwen moves to J23

Adrik follows, though not closely.
He readies Ray of Frost to shoot an(y) ambusher(s) with.

The lit orb floats behind Arwen, its light revealing... more cave.

Johanna had the urge to vomit, but she was had a very high CON score and resisted it easily.

"Ugh, what a mess...I can sort of guess what probably happened here. Those Kobolds tried to get me to swallow some sort of 'worm spawn'-apparently it's some sort of test...you eat a worm from a Dragon's egg...and you cough up a bloody Kobold. I guess sometimes they don't wait to be 'born'. Eat their way out. Nasty way to go, surely."

"It looks like you're correct, Johanna.  Some of these egg sacs are...ummm...still intact, it seems."

Mirella moves up, taking the van alongside Arwen

"Um, how fast are they growing, exactly?"

Johanna had no idea if fully grown Kobolds would come bursting out of the corpses to flank them. It seemed like a Kobold thing to do.

Action: Are these things some sort of threat, btw? Can I tell? If I can't, then ignore this and continue on.

"I'm honestly not certain."

Kobold biology time: how close do these egg sacs appear to hatching?  Do I know anything about how long it'll take for kobold eggs to hatch from laying?

"Usually when a lizard hatches it's already got teeth...and a temper to match." Johanna mused.

Much thinking, do I know anything about this?

Johanna:
(Intelligence (Medicine) Check: 5+4)
Johanna isn't sure if they're a threat or not, but has a bad feeling about it. Best to not mess with them.

Mirella:
(Intelligence (Medicine) Check: 4+2)
Mirella can't tell from a distance how close they are to hatching, but if she stuck her head into the body cavity, and poked around.

Adrik:
(Intelligence Check: 10+1)
Kobold eggs laid in this way are very volatile, and should be treated with caution.

"We might want to make them not so intact from a distance.  I know they can go off bang if you hit them."

"Should we do so, though?  It seems like it may be both safer and quieter to leave them be, and I'm not certain I'm entirely comfortable with destroying these eggs simply for existing."
