"Indeed.  I believe I have a spell that shall help."

Action: Cast Aid on the other three, then to the caverns

"Aye, we better get ready."

Johanna chanted her own spell, causing her body to be encased in a glowing blue energy shield-after a few moments, it became intangible, yet it was undeniably still there.

Extra-Action: Johanna also buffs herself up with mage armor+arcane ward, of course. Ward at 12 HP (2xWiz level+INT mod)

The entrance to the cave is broad and tall, but the ceiling quickly lowers to a height of 15 feet. In the dim light, the group can make out at least four corpses dressed in the black robes of cultists, lying on the cave floor, or propped up against the wall. Some of the corpses are mutilated: they look like they've exploded from the inside out. The rest have no obvious cause of death.

Map.
The white tiles are bright light, while the light gray tiles are dim light and the medium gray tiles are darkness that a party member can see into with Darkvision. The darkest gray tiles are cave walls, pillars, stalagmites, and other impassable obstacles.

((*Ungart.))
((Also, not wearing robes.  Why would he wear robes?))
Adrik makes his Knowledge:Arcana check on the corpses.
"What in..."
((And your link is broken.))

It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

Adrik:
(Arcana check: 12+3)
Adrik is able to determine that no magic was at play in the deaths of these cultists. He figures that someone skilled in medicine might be better equipped to diagnose cause of death.

"This is a medic thing, not a magic thing, I think."
((Oh ha ha.
No, traveller's clothes/something durable and not robes.  Practical.))

As Adrik stepped away and announced his lack of findings, Mirella stepped forward.  "I can examine them, if you will."

Johanna had the urge to vomit, but she was had a very high CON score and resisted it easily.

"Ugh, what a mess...I can sort of guess what probably happened here. Those Kobolds tried to get me to swallow some sort of 'worm spawn'-apparently it's some sort of test...you eat a worm from a Dragon's egg...and you cough up a bloody Kobold. I guess sometimes they don't wait to be 'born'. Eat their way out. Nasty way to go, surely."

Mirella:
(Medicine: 17+4)
Johanna's right. There are large, jelly egg sacs inside the stomach cavity of the dead cultists, along with the remnants of opened egg sacs. They are slightly transparent, and Mirella can see a rapidly developing kobold fetus inside of them.

Arwen grimaces, and turns away. ".... There will probably be more deeper in." He makes the sound to have the orb light up.
