Arwen stumbles back, fear in his eyes. He looks to the other cultists, scrambling towards them.

"He's gone crazy! All of Cyanwrath's group has! I heard them saying they were going to eliminate the other ranks in order to clear a path for them and the kobolds, and they'd start by making an example out of the Red Hand!"

Arwen:
(Deception, with Advantage: 5, 10+1)
The half-dragon turns on Arwen with a mix of confusion and fury in his eyes. However, before he can take three steps, the dragon-man is swamped by furious cultists who make sure work of the presumed traitor.
A cry goes up around the Red Hand camp as the half-dragon's head is lifted into the air on a spear. In that moment, there is a pause, while the blood thirsty horde takes a breath, savoring its first kill.

Arwen stands before them, fire in his eyes. Ohhhhh yes. This is going to be magnificent. "Who's to say the rest aren't also out for our blood? Are we going to sit idly by and wait for them to come kill us in the night? I say no! We are the Red Hand! We shall strike first!"

Arwen:
(Charisma, with Advantage: 16, 19+1)
A thunderous roar of agreement goes up through the crowd, and cries of "Death to Cyanwrath!" echo through the valley.
The small horde of enraged cultists stampedes through the camp, with Arwen at its head. The cultists guarding the cave entrance are scrambling, only sure that about twenty blood thirsty cultists are charging them. As the distance between the two groups shrinks, the guards throw down their weapons and retreat into the darkness of the cave.
The group continues the rush forward, expertly avoiding the many traps, and quickly finds itself at the entrance to Cyanwrath's chamber.
It is stopped a wall of blue half-dragons, grinning toothy grins. Cyanwrath is not visible among them.
<You want to go, bitches?>

((I don't have time/energy to make the map, but you are at the front of a group of about twenty cultists, armed with swords and crossbows. You are up against seven half-dragons wielding greataxes, in a choke point, where only two of each group can engage each other at once.))

Arwen is pushed into the fray, and slashes at the first half-dragon!

This is not going how he planned, but he'll roll with it.

Johanna heard the calls like everyone else. Well, a distraction was a distraction...she was glad for it.

Now if only Mirella could turn the Black Wing against the Cobalt Claw...

She spoke loudly to all around her.

"...We've been betrayed! Our 'allies' have turned against us! The Red...and likely the Black as well! Traitors in every corner! They seek to stop our Holy Ascension!

...See-while we pointlessly squabble among ourselves, Tiamat turns her many layered gaze away. It is clear her disfavor is with us, and now she asks us to atone for the sin of dis~chord among the faithful. We must pay penance, brothers and sisters-even you, Dragonblooded-we must all PURGE THESE TRAITORS IN FIRE AND BLOOD!"

Action: Mobs gotta go somewhere! Rile em' up!

Arwen:
(Melee Attack: 2+7, Failure!)
In such a tight melee, it's hard to swing your weapons, and such a fate befell Arwen, getting his sword stuck on the wall.
(Melee Attack with Advantage: 5, 6+4, Failure!)
Arwen's drake stands fast beside him, biting at the legs of the half-dragons, but its razor sharp teeth can't get a good grip on the legs of the cultists.
(Cultists: 9 hits/20 attempts, 1 CRITICAL! 51 damage!)
Bolts from the cultists fly over Arwen's head, and pepper the half-dragon he's engaged with.

(Melee attack against Arwen with Advantage: Complete Failure!)
(Melee attack against Rex with Advantage: Complete Fai- Hit! 6 damage!) ((Rolled a one, and then got a hit. I've got to make this attack deal half damage for shit rolls like that.))
The half-dragons fly at the front lines of the attacks with a reckless zeal. Now, reckless zeal is really a hit and miss sort of thing. In this case, it's mostly miss, with only one half-dragon landing a hit on Rex, and a badly aimed one at that.

((With your okay, I'll run combat until you're down to half, or something happens.))

Johanna:
(Charisma with Advantage: 18, 19)
Johanna's speech drew both kobolds, Cobalts and a few Blacks, and drove the first two into a short and deadly melee with the third, with cries of "FOR TIAMAT!", "KILL THE TRAITORS!" and "THE TENT! GET THEM WHILE THEY'RE DISTRACTED!"
The infuriated horde of cultists and kobolds charges towards the Black Wing camp.

Mirella:
A few minutes ago, Mirella had heard shouts from the Red Hand camp, and caught the tail end of them charging into the cave. Shortly after that, she heard Johanna's voice riling up some Cobalt cultists. After another half-minute, she sees a large group of kobolds and cultists charging into the Black Wing camp, shouting about "DEATH TO THE BLACK WING TRAITORS!"

Johanna was about to wave them back. The fools! They were ruining her plans! Tiamat would be very displeased!

Then, she got a hold on herself. Hmm, she was perhaps a bit too in character there...for a moment, she wondered if Tiamat was actually listening to everything that was happening. Had Johanna made an enemy of the Goddess by faking her belief? Or did she enjoy the carnage and fury so aptly wielded in her name, if not exactly conducive to her plans?

A better question came about from that.

Did Johanna enjoy it a bit too much herself?

...

She then, charged with the rest. Well, sort of. She sort of sidled to the side and let everyone pass, urging those behind her forward with more whooping and cheering.

Action: Lamely charge into battle! Somewhere near the back...try to stay out of the way. Urge more cultists into the fun!

Aesalam sort of hangs around the carnage, not sure what to do.

Mirella picked up the torch experimentally, trying to find some place that would create a large amount of smoke without too much heat to serve as a distraction when the sounds of combat reached her ears.  The shout decrying all "Black Wing traitors" stunned her, especially as she herself was wearing the robes of the Black Wing, not to mention the large horde coming at their camp.  This too, she realized, was an opportunity as well.  She threw open the flap to the tent, revealing the cultists who had not quite yet started the ceremony.  "We have a situation out here!  The kobolds and Cobalt Claw traitors are attacking us!  Leave the prisoner and defend the camp!" she shouted over the growing din, her features shadowed by the light of the day spilling in from behind her her in the darkness of the thick tent.

Arwen:
((I was going to roll it all out, but that quickly got stupid, so I'm just going to go with what makes for a good story.))
Arwen and Co. cut their way through half of the half-dragons, until shouts from the rear are heard over the sounds of battle! Kobolds have flanked the cultists!
After taking a few hits, Arwen pulls back and fires arrows into the melees, until the cultists on his side slowly get cut down by both half-dragon, and dragon-rat. All sides suffer heavy losses, however.
Arwen and Co., four Kobolds, two cultists and two dragonmen, Cyanwrath now clearly among the pair, remain, at the end. The groups pull together, wary of any move the others might make.
(Arwen is at 18 HP, and Rex and the monk are at half health. Everyone else took a few hits, but it's impossible to be certain how hurt they are.)
Cyanwrath breaks the silence. "Kill me, Red Hands? You come with twenty, and you still fail? Pathetic, but expected."

Johanna:
No one notices Johann's lack of enthusiasm as she blindly and half-heartedly launches cantrips and pebbles into the forming melee. It looks like the cultists have this under control, so now, she could try to recruit more kobolds to her side, or sneak off and find a quiet place until this all cools down.

Aesalam:
As the cultists throw themselves against each other, Aesalam suspects that he could surreptitiously take some pot shots into the crowd, and no one would notice. He could also join up with Johanna, and coordinate a plan.

Mirella:
As the cultists swarm out of the tent to defend themselves, Mirella knows that they won't be enough, the Black Wings are outnumbered two to one. One cultist grabs her as they charge out, shouting over the sounds of battle "Quick! Get Frulam Mondath! Tell her that the Claws have turned on us!"

Arwen cursed. He'd hoped the cultists would have been better fighters... But he wasn't exactly surprised by this. He was stronger now... But how much stronger was Cyanwrath? And what was that orb? Either way, it would all come down to this. His other allies were hopefully stirring up havoc in the camp as well, weakening the remaining forces so they could get the hostages away. Arwen had two goals now. Take Cyanwrath down a peg, and escape, alive, with the hostages. The Monk and Rex were with him... So maybe they could do this.

"<Rex. Attack.> Monk, clear a path out." He points towards the Kobolds. Rex and the Monkling should be able to take them without much trouble. He turns to the Cultists, nodding. "You two take on the other Half-Dragon. You can do it together. Leave Cyanwrath to me." With a wild gleam in his eyes, he throws back his hood, revealing himself. <"Heya Blue Boy. How's your neck? Did I leave a nice scar?"> And with that, he surges forward, blade in hand to slash at Cyanwrath!

"Understood."  She paused a moment, looking at the chaos unfolding around them, then turned back to ask the cultist where she might be, but they had already been swept away in the rush of cultists around them.  She quickly looks into the tent to ascertain the status of the prisoner.

Johanna began to point out some of smaller and skulkier Kobolds lurking in the back. They were probably cowards anyway, used to be being bossed around.

"You there! We have this about under control, but the battle is not over. I need messages spread among our kind...this betrayal is not limited to just our camp...the Dragons must be warned! We must carry words on the four winds of what has happened..."

If she sowed more discord among the cult, all the better. And, it would be good to get some Kobolds out of the camp before they realized what was really going on...

Action: Rally some Kobolds as message carriers to spread the word wide and far that we've been betrayed!
