Mirella looked at the rock formations consideringly.  "It may be possible to bypass an ambush there by moving off the trail.  How confident are you in your instinct?  Shall we prepare my defensive spells now?"

Arwen thinks for a moment, and nods. "Yeah, go ahead and set em up. I'm pretty sure this is gonna get messy."

"Certainly.  Um...everyone please hold still for a moment."

Cast Aid: Target Arwen, Johanna, and Aesalam; +5 to current and maximum HP for 8 hours.

Once we get closer to the rock formation (say, half a minute), cast Bless as a second level spell: Target all four players; +1d4 to attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute or until concentration is broken

"Hold your more powerful spells, Mirella. I'd rather avoid a fight...at least until we know we can win. Let's see how well I can negotiate the pass through trickery, if there is anyone there. If things go bad, you'll all need to come rescue me, of course."

Action: Johanna carefully negotiates the pass, looking every bit the dapper Dragon Cultist she is very well not. She hails any potential ambushees in Draconic.

Mirella looks up at the sun, judging the time.  "Understood, but this spell will last several hours.  Even if we don't need it immediately, I should be able to refresh myself later."

EDIT: Revised spell actions above.

As the group begins to make its way through the narrow pass, -suddenly, a wolf springs out! It stands almost four feet tall, barring its yellow incisors, growling-
"YIP!" It recoils as it is blindsided by a barrage of falling rocks. It scampers away into the distance.
"HAHA! I hit it!" comes the sound of a celebrating voice from the rocks above you.
"Tiamat-damn it, Sevi! You could have killed them!" responds another voice from a little to the left.
Before you can react, a woman's head pops up from behind part of the rocks, shouting down to you, "My apologies, brothers and sisters. We're the rear-guard, and someone got a little TRIGGER HAPPY WITH THE ROCK TRAP, SEVI!" The end of that is clearly not directed at you.
"It's not like the world could use a few less Cobalts or anything, is all..."
"Hold your tongue, Sevi, or we'll grind it up and use it to make the mortar for our next temple! Anyway, it'd be best if you were on your way. Praise Tiamat!"

Johanna waved to the oddly cheerful cultist. Sad she ended up on this side of the fence, as it were.

"Indeed, praise Tiamat, and praise your vigilance. Keep an eye outwards, sister-our enemies are out there, no doubt about it."

Well, in truth, the cults enemies were already here...Johanna made to hasten forward, leading her group. Wondering how long she could keep this up.

Action: Best be on our way!

Arwen shoots Sevi a glare, and continues walking.

<"I heard that, Sevi."> Man, knowing Draconic is AWESOME.

"Praise Tiamat."

Arwen keeps moving. Hopefully no trouble will come of this.

Mirella followed quietly, not speaking due to not knowing Draconic.  She gave a brief smile to the woman and the kobolds as she followed the others.

Arwen shoots Sevi a glare, and continues walking.

<"I heard that, Sevi."> Man, knowing Draconic is AWESOME.
<"Oh, go eat a fire beetle, merc."> Sevi's retort is quickly followed by the sound of someone getting slapped upside the head. As you walk off, you catch the beginning of an argument over Sevi's behavior.

Within half an hour, you reach the camp. It is now maybe four in the afternoon, and the sun is starting to near the horizon. You probably have two, three more hours of daylight.
The cultists have set up their camp in the hollow of a rocky plateau that's shaped roughly like a horseshoe. The lower portion of the plateau rises gently from the surrounding land, but it quickly steepens and ascends to a height of 150 feet above the landscape. Boulders form jumbled heaps at the bases of the cliffs. The level shelves and top of the plateau are covered in long grass, and brush and scrubby trees grow in patches.
From what you can see, the camp appears disorganized and chaotic. Morale seems high and security lax. If you wanted, you could probably just walk into the camp and nobody would bother you. If you did that there's a risk someone might remember you from the fighting in Greenest. You could also wait till nightfall and try to enter the camp then, but if you're spotted that will be even harder to explain. However, with the way your disguises are working so far, you figure that you will have no trouble in the camp.
The camp has a lot of people in it. If you had to guess, you would say that there are about a hundred kobolds and a mix of maybe eighty cultists and mercenaries. If you are discovered or captured, you are free to fight against those overwhelming odds. Your best chance if that happens is trying to escape after they capture you, before they execute you.
You slip into the camp, unnoticed in your disguises, and split up to survey the camp quickly before regrouping.
The camp seems to be split into multiple smaller camps, each for a different group. The kobolds are gathered in ragged tents near the entrance, near the tents with prisoners and a group of warriors dressed in black armor. Further in the camp are groups of tents apparently associated with different factions. At the back of the camp is a large tent, guarded by four guards and four drakes. Everyone was giving it wide berth, so you do too. Near it was an entrance to a large cave that was guarded almost as fiercely.

Spoiler: Map of the camp. (click to show/hide)

Arwen makes his way towards the prisoner's area, his Drake companion at his side and his sword on his hip. He motions for the monkling to follow him.

"Tell me when you see him." He mumbles, trying not to draw too much attention. He had a plan for getting the monkling's Master out of his imprisonment. It shouldn't be TOO hard... Just a bit of lying and at worst some brawling.

Action: Time for some covert action. Johanna

~goes to inspect the cultists food and water supplies, and see how they potentially be sabotaged.
~She also checks out the 'prisoners' wing of the camp.
~Find out exactly what's in the big cave by chatting with cultists discretely, though I can probably guess. Use best judgement to not alert scrutiny.

"Words of advice, try not to speak much. Just give noncommital grunts, and keep moving. And, don't stand out in any way. Dragons have a good sense of smell and they never forgot anything. If you're noticed, if might go bad for us. Try not to get yourself eaten."
