Their farts, when built up in an enclosed space, can have serious effects on those that breath it in. Johanna's relatively certain that this stench comes from Black Drakes. They're empowered by the acid in the air, and wounds they cause will fester (Bites do an extra 1d6 the turn after.) In addition, their scales take on a reflective sheen, making it harder to hit them from range.

Johanna crawls up towards edge, and peers over. The floor on the base of the ledge is covered with large, dark stains, but it's hard to tell what caused them. The most notable features are two large, dark stones. They're about three feet tall, and two feet wide at their widest, shaped like elongated eggs. Their coloration is black, with a rough, scaly pattern that drips liquid slowly onto the stone.
