Tirena, having been raised on a steady diet of stories - all of which had had romance in - and no experience of the actualities of war, disagreed.

"Sure, and the thrill of danger adds passion, when every night could be your last. " She looked at their latest recruit. "So what are you, anyway? Wandering mercenary?"

"Well, yes! I also can do tree-felling, weight-carrying, animal-hunting and other such jobs as necessary. But axe fighting I do best."

:"Probably staying wet though... don't really have many extra clothes. ...or... any, really."

"I thought I told you to bring spares... Maybe someone will share."

"I hope I'm not despised, Woofles. Hey, boss, got a question for you, if I may."

Charles didn't really have anything to say about the conversation that unfolded under his nose. Except for the Carlos part.

"Just call me Lord or Baron Heston, that's my official title anyway. And, based on your previous actions and willingness to fight, you're welcome to join my retinue of retainers. "

"Speaking of clothes, does anyone have any idea where I'd be able to procure more? All I've got is what I'm wearing right now... I can wash them every day, but it's going to be a pain."

:"Washing the same clothes every day? Pfff, story of my life. I'm already used to it."

"I'd personally rather use that time for training or learning something. Besides, these clothes have leather in them, they're a massive pain to wash repeatedly."

"...something tells me you'd be more my size than Tirena's." she said, gesturing at Lilie.

"I mean I guess I could spare something. But I didn't bring that much luggage. You have any spares they could use Vara?"

:"That dress? Haha, well, it... died."

Lilie smiles at Acacia's offer.

"I'd be really grateful for that. Though the chances of you getting them back is... Low. My history with clothes is, like Kristii, quite... Terrible."
