As Charles moved closer to the bridge he saw a strange sight.

"Acacia, where did you get that wyvern? And what are you doing here anyway?"

As he got closer still he noticed her injuries and he glared at the nearby archer.

:"Hey, I dodged you too, yeah?"

"And fine work that. You move like a river eel. Makes me wish I brought a blade easier to rein in."

"It's a bit of a long story. I'll tell you later."

"Well we've pretty much have the guys at the Keep taken care of. Everyone's mostly mopping up the last few bandits, so I went to go check on how your group was handling it. Since you're here, I'm guessing that things went well?"

"Or the fight went horribly and you're running for you life." she said teasingly.

"Alright..."

"Well it's good to know that while we were protecting the village nothing happened to the keep."

"Please," he laughed. "You'd have seen more than just me if we were running, I'd be the last to bail out."

"I think someone put these bandits up to this," Charles said suddenly. "Did you see a straggler or anyone who looked important?"

[Furtuka]

"I think I saw someone running off towards the mountains. Do you want me to go after them?"

[F.O.E.]

"Could you take me with? Just in case."

[Furtuka]

"Aye aye!"

Acacia flicked the reigns and had Rhodon land so Charles could climb on.

Despite his words, Charles was hesitant to just casually climb atop an unfamiliar wyvern. But he couldn't let that slow him what with the archer likely frantically trying to reload and get off another shot.

"Does that mean anything? Most of the riders I know give their mounts names with hidden or special meanings." He was obviously referring to his older siblings.

"Uhm... I think my brother once said that it was a word for rose in some ancient language?"

She looked behind her to make sure that Charles was seated securely before signalling for Rhodon to speed up.
