Enjald thought a little bit over that, however.

"So if you're not interested in love, why don't you join a monastery or something? Don't celibate people live in seclusion too?"

"I'm... not really celibate. You don't get it, do you?"

"If I'm not celibate, and I'm not interested in men, that would mean...?" She trailed off, inviting Enjald to finish the sentence.

"OH. Oh dear. How does that... how does... so strange, I mean... rather unnatural...?" Poor Enjald and his simple mind have been under considerable stress lately. "I do not understand how it's supposed to work but I don't wanna know."

Tirena bristled.

"Perfectly natural, thank you very much. And it works perfectly well, if you must know." She hmmphed.

"Nuh-uh!" He scratched his nose. "Ma said you need a guy and girl to make babbies. I dunno how two girls can get babbies! Not gonna convince me it's normal, miss!"

"_{Princess, save me.}" Tirena muttered quietly. "...we may be talking at cross-purposes. I'm not talking about making babies."

[Haspen]

"Uhhh." Enjald was utterly confused. "Then I think I don't wanna know. Am perfectly fine with just knowing about normal things my Ma told me about." He turned around and left to wander about and maybe finally find some food.
