"Wha- Rhodon?!" "Down boy, down!"Acacia playfully batted at the brown wyvern with her free hand until he got off of her. She then crossed her arms and looked at him sternly.
"What are you doing here? I thought I told you- excuse me, just a second."Acacia swiftly turned around and
stabbed the lancer that was sneaking up on her with her javelin, pushing her back so that she could continue her conversation.
"I thought I told you to go home!?" After taking Rhodon to fly to the keep, Acacia had left him in the forest with instructions to fly home. As mad as she was at her parents for getting the family into this mess, it seemed cruel to take one of the few things they had left from her late brother from them.
Rhodon tilted his head to the side as if bashful and replied with a undulating hiss as he bobbed his head up and down.
"What do you mean you don't want to? The new house isn't as nice but we still-"With a grunt, the wyvern nudged himself closer to look straight into her face.
"You're saying you want to stay with me? Are you sure about that?"Rhodon gave a firm hiss and ruffled his scales as he continued to look at her.
"...alright I guess. Acacia suddenly remembered where they were and turned her head to reassess the battlefield.
"Well you better pull your weight! Come on, we have bandits to drive off!" Acacia shouted as she ran to the side of her old friend and quickly climbed onto his back from years of practice. She pointed her weapon at the enemy to urge him onwards, and Rhodon responded with a triumphant roar!
