Kristii groaned, getting up from the floor, and then stretched and walked around a bit.
:"Ohhh, I was THAT close to not getting knocked over this entire time!"

[Swordstar]

"She's a vampire? Huh... Weird. Wouldn't have guessed it but that blood stuff... Makes sense I guess. Also, someone should check on the noble. He's kinda eating dirt right now."

[Sirus]

: "That's the problem; I'm not 100% sure she is a vampire. There is certainly a smell about her, but she also smells strongly of a mortal human. It's nothing I've encountered before, so let's be safe for now."

[GiglameshDespair]

"So, what, she's half-vampire? Is that a thing that can happen?"

[Sirus]

: "In theory, yes I suppose it can. This is the first case I've seen however; typically either the ritual succeeds and you're a vampire, or it fails and you die."

[GiglameshDespair]

Technically, don't you die if it succeeds, as well? It just doesn't stick...

"How it always goes, isn't it? You meet a girl and it turns out she's only in it for your body."
"Well, the blood in that body, anyway."

[Swordstar]

"Pretty sure vampires usually want the blood to be *out* of your body by the end of it. With the way she killed that necromancer, seems she at least feels that way."

[Sirus]

: "We typically develop some self-control after the initial shock passes. Which is why I want this girl restrained until she comes out of this daze of hers; she seems to lack that ability, which lends credence to the theory that she is only a partial vampire; were she full-blooded, the vampires that performed the Ritual would have taken care of her."

[F.O.E.]

Charles collapsed as the spell slammed into him but it wasn't enough to knock him out. Hr groaned in pain as he rolled himself away, from the now dead necromancer, onto his back. He'd heard everything that had happened but had yet to see anything. He grabbed his lance and used it to help himself up and tried to lean on to keep him up, it could barely support his weight.

"What the hell..." he muttered when he saw the scene, hearing and seeing were two completely different things apparently. There was talk of her, Lilie, being a partial vampire but it was already was under control thanks to Mordecai. He walked over to Kristi as she seemed to be in the same boat as him.

"Yeah, that fits me too. Got a bit too heated and lost myself there, really shouldn't have done that though. I'm supposed to be a calm and collected leader, not a loose cannon like that."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Hey, boss. Glad to hear you up."
"You didn't sound dead, but if you were, the Princess would probably be even more angry with me."
Her smile faded quickly after she said that, and for a second, her true feelings almost shone out. Quickly, she craced out another joke.
"If you were, it'd be a shame Bob was dead, else we'd bring you right back, good as new."

[Swordstar]

"Good to see the noble's not dead. Means we can get on with what we really should be doing. Fighting the Letians. Though I guess we should deal with this girl first. When did she even get here?"

[Sirus]

: "She arrived shortly after the fight started. She claims not to remember her business here."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Maybe an assassin? We had plenty of those in the palace. Pried to go berserk at blood and aimed our way when our guard was down?"

[F.O.E.]

"It's seems a bit early to be getting assassins after me; and even then how would anyone know to send her here unless there's a spy here or in the palace? I really don't want to play around with paranoia so let's assume she's just a wandering half-vampire, as weird as that is, for now."

[UXLZ]

The entire time Lilie was held by Vara, she just stood there in a daze, transfixed on the blood around her. Slowly, clarity returns to her gaze, and her eyes depart from their violent red hue.

"Did I pass out or something? What happened, guy-"

Suddenly realizing the situation only after she had begun to speak, she does a double take, whipping her head around to take in the scene.

"Huh...? HUH!? W-why am I covered in... W-why am I being r-restrained with a sword against my back, why is there... S-so much blood?"
