I bet it has to do with my thinking of joining. Afterall, last design game I was in had all the critical successes.

Don't remind me, I eventually threw my hands up in disgust at that.

Tele-mechanical probability control is always welcome in hard science.

My ideal build broke because I was looking at wrong numbers.

So What I have is:
Exp. Superstructure
Command centre (E)

Reinforced outer hull
Gaia Composite Biodome Life Support(CBLS) turn 3
Multipurpose Care- and Habitation Bay
Magnetoplasmadynamic Thruster (Not enough time for safe launch :(  -3 months) turn 2 now
He-3 MCF Fusion generator /w external radiators (Not enough time for safe launch :(  0 or -3 months) turn 2 now
He-3 Fuel Tank, size 10 fuel 20
40 mass 20 size various cargo

77/80 size
47 RU left

40 crew
115 cryo

14 years with full burn and 4 fuel remaining at planet
16 years with 5 year coast 5 furl remaining at planet

WARNING MUST BE LAUNCHED AT 11th HOUR

If the reenforced hull and Multipurpose Care- and Habitation Bay are removed, damage control and the medical bay can be added separately and free up 32 RU while changing to Fusion Plasma Torch and making it out not at 11th hour.

The earlier build you quoted earlier had 10 crew and no life support.

This has the fancy smanchy module.

Keep in mind the Gaia CBLS only comes with 50 cryopods preinstalled. However, I can allow you attempting to cram multiple cyropod modules in the same build order for a hidden roll(or you can research bigger ones)

yup though keep in mind there are only two VR pods or so in addition to the meditation garden, so morale issues may become a problem...

That sounds good but we need one more build slot for it.

Yerkri Astgheri, Earth in the Stars, is a good name.

Changing to size 12 fuel tank and He-3 MCF Fusion generator /w external radiators Mk.2 we would have 77 RU and 2 space left over, with a stable power system, 14 year full burn and 4.6 (6-8 years) fuel left over at planet.  Lots of leftover power during the trip though.

We should come to a consensus on thruster and power this turn and build the power, we can only build the MCF this turn.

Turn 2 Orders:
Construction:
Gaia Composite Biodome Life Support(CBLS)
He-3 MCF Fusion generator /w external radiators Mk2

Cargo:none this turn

Research: not sure

For research I am thinking Crew Training and expert screening,combination medbay/recration "Human Health center", one shot planetary probe launched when near the system to scout one planet, advanced robotic workers of some kind, external cargo drop pod, study breakdown of earth society to learn how to reduce human stress.

As a note, if you guys have no idea on what to research, I can have a random research rolled. Do note that it might not be anything you can actually use in the timeframe though, or relevant to your current build, if successful
