Enjald is a WAR GOD INCARNATE!!

Or so would he like to be. He is a son of a shepherd girl and unknown, but dashing young noble that one time chanced upon the young farm girl and took her maidenhead in a forest glade, under a star-lit night sky. Nine months later, Enjald was born. The noble left the night after Enj's conception, so she gave him the name of Tykos, Enjald's grandfather.

Since young age Enjald was loud, obnoxious and hot-tempered. But by the gods, he turned into a kettle of disaster when he grew up. He began making trouble with boys who tried to look strange at him, and then he beaten them into a pulp. He would venture with the woodcutters into the forest to cut wood, but end up chasing (or being chased) by wolves or angry boars.

Few years passed and he became member of the militia. Of course during his tenure as proud defender of the village, he had several mighty successes; he beaten up Rob and his gang of larder raiders, he also single-handedly killed a small bear that was chasing after few sheep of the Old Nikor. Then he saved the life of a girl that was harassed by a drunken merchant.

But that wasn't enough for Enjald, and he desired more FIGHTING, more GLORY, and especially, he wanted to be FAMOUS!! At the ripe age of sixteen, he left most of his earnings with his mother, so she could live a comfortable life, and left the village. He began travelling as a muscle for hire, slowly moving north-east from coastal areas, and deeper into heart of Molvovia. There, he had few more successes of greater fame; four thieves, a pack of wolves, young crazed vampire girl, a pair of corrupt Molvovian city guards, and a troll who harassed several villages and devoured their cattle.

Currently, Enjald is trying to do even MORE GLORIOUS DEEDS, and he has a plan! He heard that many people became nobles, and what's better than to seek fame in noble circles? Therefore, he is wandering around, searching for a noble's entourage to join, and in their name, set out and murder trolls, vampires, demons, dragons and deities, so that everyone, one day, shall hear of him - Enjald of Tykos, the Greatest Warrior Ever!!

Bio: Born the son of the bishop of a small Molvonian town, Cristoph was taught to use healing staves at just twelve years of age, and soon afterwards, was sent away from home, to a church in another town, to be taught about religion, as well as to gain more experience with healing staves. But this was not enough for the young boy, so one night in the church, while no-one was looking, he took his belongings and ran away, to find adventure! Unfortunately, as he soon learned, the world is not a place for a young boy, inexperienced in the ways of it, to be, and he soon found himself running low on money. The one day, he heard of the local lord's call to service, and decided that he must enter it, for it is sure to provide an adventure to be remembered!

Actually, in 1.2 version, wind is effective vs pegs and wyverns, plus wyverns have thunder magic against them too. Actually, I think it's the same in 1.3, though it's been suggested that it switch so that wyverns just have thunder and bows and pegs have just wind and bows

Bio: Kristii grew up as a ragamuffin and possible orphan, growing up without much in the way of family, home, or even last name... not that she ever really minded. She lived traveling from place to place, the majority of the time trespassing on other peoples' property. Kristii had quite the talent for getting out of trouble, usually by plain out-running the guards, or by disappearing into the woods or wherever they were. Even if they did manage to catch her and throw her in a dungeon, she'd be out within two weeks, capitalizing on a single careless mistake by the guards or perhaps a bit of shoddy construction, darting out back into the wilderness.

She found the Heston family's estate an excellent area when about nine to trespass and hang around in for some reason, stealing scraps and the like to subsist off of. They tried to apprehend her for of course being a trespassing urchin, but she proved her considerable talent for not being arrested over and over and over again, dashing away from guards or disappearing from prisons. It happened so many times that they A: gave up on catching her, it simply wasn't worth the trouble because it didn't stick, B: realized she was actually kinda harmless anyway, and C: began to actually get to know her.

Because of this, she trespassed longer and more frequently in their land as time went on, and eventually became pretty much a permanent resident of the family's estates, if not their house itself. She then ended up even becoming a childhood friend of Charles as the two of them grew up, perhaps to the annoyance of his family. Ten years later, her being now 19 and him 22, this has still remained the case. Naturally, then, when he went to claim Throneshadow, she invited herself along.

Bio:
A former member of the wandering Venarii tribes, Mordecai left that lifestyle behind in search of knowledge. For decades he kept to himself, slowly learning more about other cultures and keeping his state of undeath hidden as much as possible. He eventually found himself in the state of Molvonia during one of the many minor border wars and was seriously wounded in the crossfire. The King of that time found Mordecai near-final-death, and had his doctors nurse the vampire back to health.

Because of this kindness, Mordecai pledged to serve the royal family in any way he could and swore his life to them. While he keeps to the shadows (in order to avoid the suspicions of minor nobles who might notice how long he stuck around), he serves as a diligent and restless guardian and librarian. In response to the sudden crisis inspired by the Liberty group and the need for more nobles to raise arms, Mordecai was sent by Elodie to aid Charles Heston along with one of the princess' retainers.

That last one is supposed to be anger, since I didn't feel like fiddling around with his mustache any more but the sprite sheet came with free squinty eyes. He has a very slightly upward-curved mouth in the third one.

Thunder seems like it'll be a bit more useful, what with the EVA boost. Heaven would be nice for you know, being on a priest, but it's just not as useful.

Now that sign-ups are closed (excluding people who reserved via IRC or PMs beforehand) we should probably decide who comes in when.

I'd prefer the original party be composed of people who've integrated with the Lord's backstory. Right now that person looks to be FOE.

Up to.. 9 or 10 people at most should take part in Chapter 0. The rest will come in during Chapter 1 as new recruits.

As a sort of GM head's up, if you're mounted Chapter 1 would probably be a better choice, as Chapter 0 takes place indoors.
