~ Molvonia is in a state of WAR! ~

This is not unusual for your nation. What's unusual is that you might be losing this one.

The Molvonian-Letian war exploded into a multiple front disaster when, using diplomatic ties and a shared interest, Letia convinced Bretland to join the conflict and turn it from a defensive war into an offensive one. Their supply lines being devastated, the Molvonians had no choice but to respond and attempt resecuring its bordermarches by pushing against Brettian outposts and shires serving as staging points. Unfortunately one such battle went to hell when, instead of fighting only Letians and Bretlanders, Molvonia found its forces facing Corscan raiders and Damascan mercenaries as well. Most of its army was cut down in one fell swoop. In the face of this 'Liberty Coalition' Molvonia has been pushed back and scrambles to rebuild a new army to replace the ones it had lost.

You are part of that new army.

In an effort to rejuvenate the kingdom's strength, Crown-Princess Elodie has redistributed noble titles of demesne ownership across the bordermarches and immediately inward provinces, granting them either to newly elevated nobility or to young nobles without a fief of their own. Despite much rancor among the local nobility this has been met with tentative acceptance by the aristocracy on the whole due to necessity privileging a practical solution to the mess of decrepit unoccupied fiefs which left Molvonia vulnerable.

One such appointed Lord/Lady now travels with their attendants towards their fief and a recruitment gathering for the purpose of building this new household.

Prologue: Home Sweet Home 7-8 players at start.

Those who get in first must decide who will be the Lord! May either be one among you or you may choose a NPC Lord. Be prepared with an alternative bio if you're willing to play the role.
Lord has only recently come into ownership of the fief "Throneshadow Keep" and attempting to reclaim it by ousting the powerful Necromancer rumored to have taken up residence. A proficient castellan has been sent to accompany them and aid in operating the new fief once it has been restored.

Other Player Characters are either answering a call to service for their new Lord, errant knights seeking service, mercenaries, or the Lord's retainers.

Chapter 1: House Warming ~4 players
Either latecomers to the original call, opportunists hearing about the keep's recapture, locals motivated to serve their liege, or travelers who can be recruited to the cause.

Bio:
Tirena used to be a retainer for Crown-Princess Elodie, even considering her a friend - though two years older, she was brought up with the Crown Princess, being the child of a relatively minor noble from the Etrusician Empire sent over to form diplomatic ties. When she was young, the Princess shared some chocolates with her, a gift from a distant land. But the chocolates were poisoned - the smaller dose the girls got from sharing the chocolates left them alive, but the venom had forever stolen the archer's sight. Despite this, she is still a fearsomely skilled bowwoman, but her body is frail and incapable of taking a hit - the poison never could be healed completely.

Despite their friendship, they had a point of contention - Ser Giles Raniford. Tirena did not trust the man, and he disliked her in turn. Eventually, Tirena was effectively banished from the court in a moment of spite on the Princess' part - she was sent to assist a noble in establishing their fief.

Still, she holds great loyalty to both her country, and over all, her Princess. A little too much to her princess, maybe.

Bio:A young nun-in-training of the Church of Hope. A friendly girl, Nanoha arrived at a Molvonia branch when her mother gave her to them, unable to feed and shelter her.

Once she had grown up a bit, the bullying stop among the orphans, for no one wish to invite the ire of the 'white devil'.

Now a young woman, Nanoha seeked permission to find her mother and left for a short trip. Tracking to a small village, Nanoha could help but feel an ill wind about what the day would bring.

In case of lordship: A young Noble of Molvonia. A friendly girl, Nanoha was trained by the nuns of the Church of Hope in an attempt to curb her tomboyish. The fact that the abbess taught her a few move her misspent youth did not help with that.

However, a hunting accident claimed the life of her father which spur the young Nanoha to take her training seriously. It wasn't until she collapse from overwork that her mother took her aside and made her promise to be true to herself rather then trying to reach an ideal that was impossible, even if it was what her father would want.

Now a young woman, Nanoha was chosen to own a fief. Honored, Nanoha headed there to look over her new place, but she can't help but feel an ill wind about today.
