Swarm wins. Give me a bit to write up the next post. You will quite enjoy it.
Your head fills up slowly with details and nuances that the old Oracle had told you. Her understandin of not just one, but several different iterations of colony structures. Each structure for comes to you as a whisper, slowly increasing in strength until you nearly shout it out yourself. You all are part of a swarm, there was never any doubt about it, but, you all act it.
That was the issue with the old colony. Everyone looked out for themselves. Crimes against the swarm ran rampant. Internal strife wasnt common, but, sometimes there were odd cases of ants trying to rase above their status, many going as far as murdering Queens and several Seers.
In fact, it was because of such uncanny and rampant disregard for the whole that the Oracle cursed the last hive and, with the backing of a hand full of those who agreed with him, and Queens that sought safty, you were all lead here, many miles underground, in this cave, once barred away from the terrors above, and now, blocked away from the potential threat to the integrity of the colony as a whole.
You take your time, walking around the impromptu colonial hive. Its only been a few moths since the initial separation occured, which makes you merely 4 months old. Then it hits you. You wonder if you would have ever felt comfortable in the aboveground, anyway. Do you think you would have preferred a live among the trees over this exsistance in the dirt?
