She glanced at Sol, frowning. "Mm... I guess I can try..." She quiets down, though there's a bit of a pout on her face.

Nathan walked into the room, reviewing the information he had gained from his 'friends' about the archetypes of some of his opponents.  Exodia guy, who Nathan saw was completely decked out in the gear to look like an Exodia, had apparently gotten in again, word having it that he had added the 'Destiny Board' and 'Final Countdown' set of cards to his deck.  A couple copy-cats were running decks similar, if not identical to decks that had won in the past.  One rumored to have a blue eyes.  The child he met yesterday was rumored to use a Madolche.  Some guy, Nathan could guess who, was running a Satellarknight deck.  Couple burns were running around, as well as a few equips and two lockdowns.  He'd draw up the relevant information when he found out who he was against.

Marin stood off to one side of the room, away from the densest clusters of people.  Unfortunately, she didn't know much about her opponents; she had to keep clear of most of the contacts she had known before, and they, likewise, weren't willing to get anywhere near someone who was technically and likely still wanted by the Corp.  Going in blind would be a bit dangerous, but she trusted her instincts, and she already knew everyone here would be strong.   The only question would be if she was clever enough to get around that.

Contestants continued to trickle in to the room, eventually the last one arrived a tall woman that most of them would remember from the day before. She went to one of the walls of room away from everyone else and leant there, her face a mask of grim determination. A few seconds later a speaker came into life and the room fell into a nervous silence.
”We will now announce the results of the draw. Please look to the screen in front of you.”

The screen changed and one by one the matches appeared there, it was tense waiting but soon all of the matches were revealed. John Franklin vs Jack Venture, Dina Argo vs Sharon Lienas , Belle Hooks vs Vena Lioan, Sol Aruka vs Danny Chase and Jacob Thornton vs Kurogane Isao. They would also notice that the famous exodia duelist was matched up with a woman called Lacie Vessalius.

”Before the duels begin you are expected to make an appearance before the crowd, head up there in five minutes time. After this the duels of the first round will begin.”

Sol nods, a little confused. He didn't THINK he knew a Danny Chase... Anyway, this match would be good, and would thrust him into the spotlight once he won. He had to trust in his cards. The Stars were on his side, after all...

After five minutes, he made his way up, waiting for his signal to appear before the crowd.

Kurogane Isao? Jacob had never heard that name before. Still, he was certain in his deck, and believed it had the tools to deal with this unknown opponent.

He waited a little more than five minutes before following other duelists up towards the stage.

Sharon Lienas...an unfamiliar name.  Readying her deck, Marin walked up with the other duelists, careful to stay near the back.

OOC: Dina Argo, not Marin Volta.  Sorry, I know all the false names must be a bit hard to keep track of. ^_^

Nathan headed up towards the stage, attempting to remember which archetype his opponent ran, as well as the duelist's favored card combination, walking at a pace equal to the crowd's.

Belle proceeded to quiver in place with ecstatic excitement for 5 minutes, counting under her breath. Instantly at 5 minutes on the dot, she hopped to her feet, carefully adjusted her skirt, and walked up onto stage with a brilliant smile. Whoever this Vena was, she was gonna beat 'em!

The crowd roared as the contestants walked into the stadium, each of them being introduced by the corporation's announcer. When everyone had entered he called for silence, the audience slowly complied and soon it was quiet. The eyes of thousands of people watched as the Vice-President entered into the arena. A smile was on his face as he regarded the people there, he pulled out a microphone from one of his pockets and began to speak.

The speech was typical, similar to the one that he had give the contestants previously. It went on for a while, the duelists forced to stand there the entire time. Eventually it came to the end and the vice president exited the stadium, the crowd roared back into life and the announcer began enthusiastically shouting once again.
"It's the moment you've all been waiting for, the tournament begins here. Duelists take your positions in the arena and good luck to each and every one of you."

Sol takes his position and boots up his deck, grinning. Time to win.

Nathan headed over to where he needed to stand, duel disk prepared on the way over.  'Information on this guy is low.  Let's see what he is able to do.'

Jacob made his way over to his assigned arena, taking his time. Once he gets there, he activates his duel disk.
