"While attempting to contact the regiment for aid when ambushed the vox message was picked up by the ships main systems, and was relayed to the captain... he dident sound particularly happy..."

"Although, even if my actions did not lead to their notification, firing of vehicular weaponry within a confined space is something likely to be noted, and duly relayed to command authorities, if not by a human than by automatic systems..."

"Sir, if you deem my failures worthy of execution, I ask merely that I be the one to carry out my own execution. For it is the man who admits their own failings that the emperor grants mercy to, atleast in the next life..."

"Trooper, I have not summarily executed even the damned Tamerians that shot at us, despite having all the right and power to do so. Now, I will tell you something. Despite the fact you are not being actively malicious, incompetence can be just as dangerous in the Guard as heresy. When you make so many mistakes, it is not only a problem for you; you might cause the premature death of other troopers, or put missions in jeopardy. You are also part of the soldiers assigned to me, therefore your failings are reflected upon me besides causing trouble to your comrades. When a Commissar loses his credibility, a handful of troopers and officers may think it is the time to do whatever they please, because their political officer became nothing but a symbolic figure which instills no fear nor respect. This may cause conflicts, which end bloody for every part involved. Everyone loses."

"Now, I will punish you. Of course I will, but it has to wait. I want you to fail no further and behave like you are a soldier of the Emperor's flock and an actual working part of the Conquistadores. Now, tell me everything the Captain said and then evaluate the damage you caused to the surroundings."
he orders.

The situation seems to get worse by the moment. "How long ago was that? Is the vox still connected to the captain's channel?"

The political officer sighs before taking the vox. "++This is Bartolomeu Denos, commissariat officer attached to the Barrablancan 16th. A distress call from one of the Barrablancan troopers seems to have been caught on by this fine vessel's captain and there are now Navy armsmen being sent here. Is there confirmation on that?++" he voxes, sounding polite and calm. He doesn't want to bash heads with the man steering the ship.

Watching the situation finally begin to de-escalate, as the Commissars worked their magic, Amalia grinned absolutely radiantly, holstering her gun and adopting a very proud posture as she strutted in the direction of Commissar Denos and Marn... not quite cocky enough to interrupt the Commissar's vox conversation to gloat, but still probably a little more swagger-y than she should be.

"Acknowledged. Help the rest of the troopers with our prisoner."

- Yessir.

Diego picks up the weapons tossed out of the container and escorts corporal Kimmerel to commissar, where he can talk to her. Not that Diego keeps her on gunpoint at all times, but he keeps his hand on the trigger. Tamerians gave him no reason to trust them so far.

Bartolomeu glances at Diego. "Restrain her with the help of the other troopers."

Emil slowly meanders after Amalia, curious as to what in the name of the Emperor was going on. That and Amalia's current swagger was doing... interesting things to the rest of her.

There's a croaking noise and a hint of garbled speech, then a tinny, nasal voice says, "The captain is busy right now. Can't it wait?" Even though it's slightly distorted, there are notes in the voice that you do not like.

"++Yes, it can wait for a moment but it might interest him since it will save him moving his armsmen around to take care of a few groundsloggers' scrapes. In his absence, the Navy Commissar attached to this ship would suffice as well. Who is it I have the pleasure to address?++" he inquires, trying to figure out what exactly in the voice is wrong.

It's nothing supernatural - he just sounds too cheerful for somebody who's refusing you stuff. Sort of like some minor Navy prick who's got a chance to be an annoyance to a Guard officer. "++Transmechanic Jans, communications officer to captain Toran. As such, the captain's time is much more valuable than the time of a few armsmen, commissar Tenos. Surely you, being of a more... organic disposition of mind, will have no trouble explaining the situation to them, no?++"

Bartolomeu gets his face away from the vox for a moment to stare at Marn. "Why aren't you evaluating the damages caused? Do you have anything else important to tell me? If not then go, go, go!" He orders once more before returning to his pleasant conversation.

"++Yes, that makes sense. Is the Saecula Saeculorum's assigned Commissar nearby?++" he calmly replies, making a mental note to shove a combi-tool up the Transmechanic's metal ass the first opportunity he could find while checking his vox override codes for the one linking to the Navy Commissar in the ship. In case he didn't manage to contact them and with some luck, they'd be with the armsmen. If not... He was considering just leaving the scene for the moment to let things cool down, but that option seems both cowardly and the act of someone who's guilty and has something to hide.

Viverde approached the other Commissar, speaking in a low voice. 'Commissar? From what I got from the Ogryn, this 'Kimmy' led... or at least convinced their group to set out to get 'something owed to them'. Then there was a 'Doppel'...' he said, his eyes drifting across the scene of combat. 'Perhaps I should take these Tamerians to the camp before Naval personnel can arrive? We'll do only well to explain what happened here to the ship's authority, but perhaps we should avoid the chance to ship's armsmen would seek to take them. Or allow them to muddle the truth of what happened.'
