Jsut found out that the +10 from resist fear applies, which I was under the impression that it did not for some horrible reason. Which means I passed it the first time (rolled 12, target 13 (23-20+10))! Which means I still have a fate point and am not crashing the chimera into the void! Hurrah!

Now, Howmuch XP is this worth...

 Marn screams out something about "burning symbols and evil eyes", swerving abit, before he starts chanting various hymns. Not that the others have any idea what he is chanting, of course...

Íñigo's head was spinning. She couldn't tell what was happening, but something was wrong. Really wrong. She had trained to fight... She was not trained for this... Whatever it was.

"Sir! We have to go somewhere... Somewhere that isn't here!

Saying this, Íñigo tried to grab Don Diego, pulling him somewhere else. Maybe there was somewhere safer... Probably in a closed room. And she would have to look for one... If she managed to get Don Diego moving with her.

=======================================Inside the Chimera's troop compartment

Initiative order: Viverde, Denos, Chesty, Diego, Zomara

Commissar Viverde takes the sudden incursion of the Warp into realspace calmer than most would; his hands are still a little shaky, though, and his bolts just smack into one of the wall-eyes, splattering it all over the troop compartment.
Commissar Denos cannot match his junior's mental fortitude, but he's a better shot: as he retreats towards the hatch, he puts a bolt right through the Kimmirel-thing's chest, blowing a substantial crater in it.
The thing shrinks back silently, then lashes out at Diego, who is closes to it, with the scythe-like appendage that has grown out of Kimmirel's mouth. It barely misses him, leaving deep gouges on the Chimera's wall.
Diego quickly flips the fire selector on the pistol to overload, lighting the creature up with a blinding flash. It doesn't seem to do much damage, but it's better than nothing.
Zomara just yells and backs away, firing wildly and missing, nearly tripping over Amalia, who seems to have fallen off her seat. Artho is currently trying to shake her awake.

Amalia has no idea how long she's been standing there, staring into the darkness. After this indeterminate amount of time, she starts to discern movement down below. It is impossible to clearly place, but there's something inherently disgusting about it, like maggots crawling over something dead, gorging themselves blindly.
She leans back further, only to discover that the rock behind her seems to have grown smooth and glass-like. Turning her head a bit, she can see that it's actually glass now, with a soft glow coming from behind it. She cranes her neck a bit more; there's a creature behind the glass. A purple-skinned, black-eyed thing with a hungry, cruel mouth and claws like a crab's. It batters itself against the glass impotently, then leans against it in apparent defeat, its breath fogging the surface.
Amalia can now see that she is standing on a narrow precipice above the void.

Marn regains control over the Chimera, though he is still driving in the direction of the eye. Which is closing now. Marn feels that his vehicle is somehow going faster than it should be going. The containers closest to the eye begin to slide slowly towards it. For some reason, the whole scene is totally silent.

As she grabs Don Diego's shoulder, the floor decides to return to its proper place, dropping her down again. Her squad transfer papers drop from her bag, she puts them back and stands up, looking all around herself.
She is standing in a narrow corridor lit by several glow-globes on the ceiling. One of which is now an eye. Magnificent. The crew privy is behind her; to the right and left extends the corridor that travels along the spine of the ship. Right, she knows, it goes to a crew area, which is usually restricted to Guardsmen; there should be ratings on guard there. Where does the left passage go, she doesn't know. In front of her is the passage through the rather labyrinthine section of tunnels that should take her back to camp.
The left passage is more or less illuminated. The right and forward passages are almost completely dark.
Don Diego is rocking gently in place, holding his hands over his eyes tightly. Inigo herself feels sick and shaky: there seems to be something cold lodged inside her ribcage, burning her each time she takes a breath. The patterns in the darkness seem to form leering faces and sickly shapes, but the light isn't much better - it makes her notice the grime and ruin around her, the walls eaten by rustworms, the galvanic decay in the glow-globes, the writhing and pulsing of life in her body. The metallic smell of her own breath.

 Marn takes a break from chanting obscure hymns to gripe. Afterall, nothing he can do about the eye, and no commissars to execute him from griping. Atleast at that moment.
"Why do I have a sinking feeling that theres a hole in the ship... Also, what are those idiots doing in back? Fighting a battle? Poise! Go tell them to calm down!  And grab the commissars and the priest, theres a crazy eye ahead! There may also be a hole in the ship, and the camp may be missing! Keyword is may!"

 He then gets back to chanting hymns.

With this, Íñigo grabbed Don Diego. She didn't know where the left passage went, so she started heading towards the right passage. Power sword in hand, Don Diego's shoulder on the other, she started to move.

"Let's go sir... I'm sure this way we'll find someone... Can you try and turn your lamp on, señor? I could use some light."

Even if he couldn't, at least she would have the faint light of the power sword if she was in an emergency.
