I'll sign up for design please. I actually really like the idea of a game jam as well.

Post coming soon, guys, a bit delayed.
Totallllly didn't get lost in playing ARMA 3, specifically the mod Pilgrimage. No siree, I don't know how good that mod is and how it would make a pretty great game on it's own, nope. I am just completely on the ball about everything.

Choosing dudes for the team
GiglameshDespair - Creative
miauw62 - Design
Shook - Art
Alexander_TNT - Art/Design
DarkDXZ - Creative/Art

Congratulations guys! Now, let's see what the asset you'll be making is.

Spinning the asset wheel...
Character.

Spinning the genre wheel...
A light-mooded horror shooter. Interesting combination. FEAR crossed with Evil Dead?

Spinning the name wheel...
Hardcore Sewer Offensive. Oh God, sewer levels.

So, what's the character?
Keywords: River, summer, debug, vengeful. This has potential...

You are making a character (with essential aspects of it being river, summer, debug, and vengeful) in a game called Hardcore Sewer Offensive, which is a lighthearted horror shooter. Who is this character? An ally, an enemy? What's it's motivations? How does it work? What the hell is it doing in a sewer?

Alright, starting from now (12:35am on the 29th -- or 30th, if you're being specific -- of January), you have four days to complete this asset, ending at midnight on the 2nd of February. Debate on what exactly it is (Perhaps a river spirit in a sewer?), get some ideas going, then see if you can make a good character. Things that'll help this asset would be good dialog, good concept art, a few interesting mechanics relating to the character, and some AI decision trees if it does anything in the game itself beyond stand around.

Feel free to ask me any questions about this.

What do you mean by "debug"?  'm more curious than anything else.

Gonna be completely serious, I'm mostly here for the ideas. Thank you for doing this.

Aw, just one team? It could be fun if we had multiple teams making assets for the same game.

Don't worry, this is just a test run. That's exactly what I'm planning next round. Also, I got it all from a random word generator, so your guess is as good as mine! And if you want to hear my guess, debugging is related to computers and at it's most basic form it's sorting out problems. So... could be something there? Especially with the revenge keyword.

Does "Art/Design" mean I can choose? If so, I will go with design for the first one.

Shall we use this thread for our team to communicate with?

It means you can do either, though a preference is fine. And sure, that's what it's for.
