((You could, the servants would be more than delighted to help. Though you are in a secluded bedroom with a drunk man. You could always wait for him to sleep then smother him or something if you want violence))

You open the book and begin reading,'It was a warm summer day when Ishmael and Kodlak found themselves terribly bored.' You read before being interrupted,"So would you like to make se money?" He asks before finishing the last of the liquid in your flask

Tell him it depends on the job. Try to be subtle about not needing money, but wanting fine pieces of jewelry. (nudge nudge)

¨I don't quite need the money but a piece of jewelry would be nice. What do you have in mind?¨ You respond.

He ponders a bit, then speaks up drunkidly,¨Do you know madam Heinrich?¨

Say we will look into to it for now. Ask for a description of her and leave the bedroom.

Approach the women and listen to the conversation. Examine their clothes and use our clothing industry knowledge to help us understand what they are wearing.

They seem to be wearing the latest fashion, some of the most expensive clothing that you would be lucky to even carry a single of their dresses but your looking at 8+ outfits. They are relaxed ware outfits not so much formal but more casual for dressy elite.
They are talking about romance and clothing, you think you remember one of them stopping by your store once for some cloth.

Join in on the conversation by complimenting the women's dresses. Introduce ourselves as Mr. V. X. Smellinger, Proprietor of Smellinger & Co. Garments.

The woman you recognize cheers up,"I think I know you! Ya you're the chap who owns the little store in town right? How'd you get invited here? Do you own a store somewhere else and just live here?" She says amongst the thank yous from the others
