On the Wiki page for tungsten carbide, there is (currently) a picture with the caption, "A Nokian bicycle tire with tungsten carbide spikes. The spikes are surrounded by aluminum."

Has anyone else bumped into descriptions in unlikely places that could almost have come straight out of DF?
