Just swing the trident at the knife, either he is disarmed or he is dis-armed.

Then stab him.

[12 v 17]
You stab in with your trident but it is parried away and he blocks the subsequent stab of the sword

We have a trident, he has a dagger. let's stay out of his range and just stab at him with the trident and swing at him with the sword if he gets too close. Just because our last action failed doesn't mean it was a bad action, just that we didn't get lucky.

[14 v 4]
You parry away the dagger as it comes toward you, knocking your opponent off balance and making him fall right into your thrusting trident.
The trident pierces through his guts and the two side prongs stick out his back.

A man stands up in the shared royalty section, he is wearing baggy white Egyptian cotton pants, no shirt, a violet hoodless cloak, and a silver crown with purple cloth ontop.
He gives the thumbs down.

((Funny someone would mention there being an arena master and emperors say, the first three fights are in entertainment, one survivor fights. The rest (except ones done in the first arena as title matches) are done with an arena master or other nobility))

Since he's already impaled on the trident, prop the bottom of the trident against the ground so it holds him suspended on it. Then swing the sword down on his neck.

Stick the trident in the ground, and balance it so it's stable. Then, chop off the upper body on that side of the trident, and the lower body on that side, leaving only a bit still stuck on the trident.

You lots the trident to the ground holding his body up.
He has dropped his dagger and is trying to pull free from the trident but is in too much pain.
You look at him and then to the grounds raising your arms yelling,"ANIMUS ATQUE MORTEM!"
You then take your sword in both hands and stab it throne his collar bone down into his chest killing him almost instantly.
You pull the bloodied sword from his body and it falls over.
You retrieve your trident and shieth your sword, grabbing your cloak on the way out.
Your master greets you,"You have put on quite the show lad. You have been invited to a banquet with me tonight, we shall speak to the arena master and set up your next game"

What do you wear?
(Fine clothes, your cloak and normal clothes, or your cloak and fighting gear. I guess cloak and good clothes is an option too)

I translated it before I even read that last post. "Consciousness and death."
