Yeah, lets keep this sane... for now. Wait until he charges. We clearly cant get around that shield.

Or, we could back into a wall, make it look like we are cornered, then when he charges, we dash out of the way. He'll run right into the wall, knocking him off balance. That is when we strike!
I like this plan +1

You lead him to a corner where he half corners you, he begins to use the full length of the spear, it is almost 10 ft long and you are just barely out of his reach. He is not charging

Try to get his spear pinned under our trident and throw our javelins at him while he's stationary. Hopefully we can hit a part of his body that isn't covered by his shield.

We just screwed ourselves.

Try to get his spear pinned under our trident and throw our javelins at him while he's stationary. Hopefully we can hit a part of his body that isn't covered by his shield.

Also, while his spear is pinned, try to get behind him.

If I'm right about what you're thinking then that's a terrible idea. I'm thinking you mean we should pin his spear and plant our trident in the ground so he can't use it and then run behind him and throw our javelins at him. If that's your plan, it's a terrible one. While we're running to get behind him he can just run to the trident and take it out of the ground. Then he has access to a spear, a trident, and a shield and we'd only have javelins. We ought to pin his spear with our trident but we shouldn't let go of the trident while we're throwing our javelins with our other hand.

((Could pin it to the ground, charge him, use his shield to run up and jump over him while maintaining the trident. The landing would be tricky though))

Do this, and while we are in mid-air, stab him in the head!

With as many problems as shields are causing, maybe we should try one out if we survive.

What are the current votes?
Like which action has how many votes?

I think everyone agrees on pinning the spear, 2 votes to keep the trident, and just me to vault and stab. The other option would be to run around the guy and stab.

[19 v 9]
Seeing you set yourself up to be cornered and you can't really escape on the sides you pin his spear to the ground, charge him causing him to slant his shield to brace, you pull the trident off the spear and run up the shield doing a front flip and landing perfectly behind him.
You see that he is only wearing a small leather cod piece for armor and no upper body coverage at all.
