Also, we still need to know if there is a way up to the roof. :P

Ah, yes, there's a ladder tucked in the corner with the doors you opened.

Once I know what Arwen is going to say, I will update.

I'm gonna pop my inspiration during this bit, gonna need a few minutes to think of a TRULY FEAR-INSPIRING SPEECH.

It should be mentioned that townsfolk are difficult terrain to bowl over pass by.

Inspiration does not let you attack twice, it only gives you advantage.

Really? Huh. Thought I'd used it that way before.

That might have been an Action Point, which Dwarmin uses.
Do you still want to use your inspiration?

No, I'll save it then. Action changed.

Ah well, this looks like the end for me. :P 1 HP and several enemies within range before my turn comes up.

At this point, the GM has either modkilled me because I'm annoying, or he's planning divine intervention. Six encounters without a chance to rest is ridiculous.

How do death saves actually work?

Well, once you drop below 0 HP, you get a d20 roll with no modifier every round. 10 or higher is a pass. On three successes, you stabilize. On three fails, you die. Fumbles (a roll of 1) counts as two failures. A crit (20) automatically gives you back 1 HP, and you regain consciousness-otherwise, you have to wait 1d4 hours to recover 1 HP-regaining any HP brings you back up. Getting hurt in anyway counts as a failure, and if an enemy crits you it's two failures-though, if damage reduces you to 0 hit points and there is damage remaining, you die if the remaining damage equals or exceeds your hit point maximum.

I see.

As for your survival... perhaps one of the peasants is actually Conan the Barbarian or something? We can but hope.

Well, it is a siege; there aren't going to be many chances to sleep.  I would have appreciated the chance to at least use a Short Rest before embarking on our mission to the church, however, and we'll almost certainly have to do that once we get back if we get the chance.  That wouldn't give us expended spell slots back, but it will let us heal and gain the new spells we received, and we all are pretty much tapped out.  I want to see how much damage Sweetpea's attack does, then Mirella can decide whether she'll follow up on the unarmed cultist (the bolded one, I assume) or the kobold.  She will definitely move forward far enough that any attempts by the enemy to move by her will provoke attacks of opportunity, though that will also expose her to attacks from both cultists and the kobold.
