I'll let the dice decide. Your parents are not too supportive of your adventuring, so won't give you and some random people horses unless I roll above a 15 on a d20.
I rolled a 1. You don't get horses.
Renting horses is not going to happen either. Sorry.

We can't afford horses to feed the dragons, much less the poison needed to lace the horsemeat with to kill the dragons.
