Well, if it will help, we will need a representative from each skill group, so they can tell us what might be needed. . . An advisor,  if you will. For that to work, though, we need a register of all those who were in the capsules. So, our first duty should be to have as many workers as it would take to have this done within two turns. Because we would want to register the dead, too. It might help with moral, when we bury them, later. We will aslo need engineers to check and see if the capsules that had shut off, are all working, now, because, if not, we might want to either, one, fix them, or, two, brake them down into spare parts

Well, we can do that when there's no threat of a 4-legged berseker breaking down the door and ripping out our spines  :P

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Thats actually part of the reason why I though extra gaurds at the front was a good idea. And, who knows, that creature that we think is a threat may have the mindset of a spooked deer.
Plus, if I am right, everyone is huddled in the Capsule room, anyway, where the registration will take place, because, withing most settings, the hibernation chamber itself will contain the data of the persons origin.
This, if I am right, means that they are in equal chance of being attacked, and surviving an attack, as the main group of idlers are.
But, if you still feel the same way, all we need is a tie braker. . . . I personally just want more work to be done at once, as quickly as possible. . . . . And to set up a caste system, so that organization is far easier in the future.

I'm working on a battle calculator for this right now. I'm not sure if I get it done today, but there won't be a fight anyway this turn.
The hibernation chambers have the data about the persons saved, but as I said at the beginning, not every persons will be a character. Most will just be numbers.

I'm gonna post the next turn in a moment. You can decide something important this time! ;)

Reconquering
An illustrated suggestion colony (re)builder

[Knowledge Database]
[Story and turn overview in the opening post]

Turn 3
June 2171

The security leader and his small group reached the entrance. On their way they passed the weapon storage and equipped themselves.
The beast really looks dangerous, now that they see it for real, and they decide to head back to get enforcements before confronting it.

Nervous about the beast trying to get in, after all they don't even know what it looks like, since only the security leader had seen it,
the group decides to send some more guards, and another group of 5 makes its way towards the entrance.

The other people, not much else to do yet, vote for an administrator for the colony and for representatives of their profession to act as advisors for him.
It is for you to decide which profession the administrator should have. Depending on that, he will give bonuses for specific processes.
(There will be no negative effects, only the bonuses)

Active tasks
Check the weapon storage and take care of the intruder. (done)

Check the engine section. 4 Guards; 3 engineers (1 turn remaining)
Check the food production. 4 Guards; 3 farmers (1 turn remaining)

I say to give it to the farmers. "Hands work only after the mouth is fed."

I ment more along the lines of doing so, so that the person who was best qualified as a representitive of the group could be easily chosen, rather than a list of names, but. . . Yah. Also, I called it! Its a deer! Well, a stag like creature, but. . . Semantics.

I drew the beast after reading your post, originally it was something else. ;)

I will post the next turn tomorrow (It's 23:25 right now where I am).

Farmers can only feed us, the Scientist can only work within a controlled lab(for the most part) for the long term, Workers are mainly grunts, and the Guards can only protect us with the equipment they have... Why not the engineers? They can make great farm equipment, design the lab and equipment, produce the guns, and give the workers something to do.

+ 1 Engineers.

Each have their purpose; However, I believe that the benefits for the engineers would benefit the rest of the group more than one of the other four.

Or maybe I just misunderstand the whole thing...
