Currently, scratch the sniper part. I'll try that out when we have better equipment. For now, I've got some good pistol and knife skills.

We've got a face, she hasn't posted on the thread but she's totally in.  We've also got a magician here, and a general shooter-type.  We could use a hacker variant, preferably something mostly into guns or mechanics or shit with a side of hacking.  ANOTHER FORUM MEMBER CAN APPLY FOR THIS.  Hacking is going to be a bit restricted, no cyberspace projections, but plenty of electronics around to mess with, mainly as a support as they also carry on physical activity.

ahh good, a full time face means i can drop Improve Charisma and get Swarm >8D (for the curious, it makes everyone in an area think they are covered in bugs)

for whoever wants to be the decker(hacker), I suggest you pick up rigging (drone controlling) as well as there is a good amount of synergy there.
you would also be a good driver.

I'm definitely interested but really new to playing shadowrun PNP. I've read a load of the lore books though.

I only saw this today, and I'd be interested too. I'm over in Europe though, so hours might get complicated. I've also not played much shadowrun at all.

I'd be interested in playing a driver/rigger type character (with a penchant for shitguns! And robotic dogs! And dogs thsr when they bark they shoot shotgun blasts at you!), but I could go for hacker too, if we really need that. I was going to go for face until I saw your mystery friend went there, which might as well be good; though face characters have always tempted me I remain not the greatest at talking myself. Are leather trenchcoats banned or mandatory?

...with a penchant for shitguns!...

I would be unsurprised if there was a fan supplement for that.

I figured you just didn't care about buying anything useful to shoot.

And I have the Leather Look, so it should be permissible.

Riggers become hackers, there's a lot of overlap on that Venn diagram.  The main skills there would be computer and weapon, so you could hack things, control drones, and fire from the drones.  It coincides well as you can fly the drones and hack from the drone.  Most drones are going to be slightly/highly illegal though, take that how you will.  Just get a step van and be like every other player and say "I've got a delivery truck, the police don't notice" because it's completely true...

Mount it with a kebab harpoon gun.

Not technically impossible, though highly illegal... probably.  I don't know exactly what law you'd be breaking, but you would be going to jail.

It's fine. I'll train my character as a lawyer.

"Your honor, I ask the prosecution what law my client has broken! Has the state of New Druby yet legislated any provision against alternative delivery systems? My client is simply being persecuted by the state for his brilliant inventions!"

(I'll spend Edge and get us all off on technicalities when we try to rob someone)
