Well, the ship's bristling with sensors anyway. That ability would come more in handy on an away-mission. I focused more on people's intellectual, rather than physical skills for that list.

I've 'updated' my character sheet.

You might think it's good, but then again, maybe not.

((Err. That goes against the lore of the AI Collective. An Alpha wouldn't ever live in a tiny, fragile, low processing, power suit. The fact that an alpha is flying this ship is a stretch. Normally Alpha ships are huge. As in. They dwarf this ship. a Ceta also wouldn't live in a suit. Actually. Probably no AI would willingly live in a suit. Please don't hijack my lore. Feel free to make a seperate AI race that does that. But don't hijack my lore without talking to me first.))

While I personally dislike Kevaks AI lore, I also agree that if you wish to play an established race, you should at least pay more than lip service to the established rules if how that race works.

After thinking hard enough, I thought up an in-universe reason why anything coming from Homo Sapiens or Homo Sapiens themselves is banned...

What if they are now extinct (or achieved transcension? Or something else) and they are just a mere legend or something?

Just for the record, there are no "stories of the fabled 'Earth.'"
Since making at least some level of AI should be well within the reach of FTL-capable space-faring people, presumably the NearRealleans could just make their own AI for their suits, either smart or dumb.

Super-Strength and Super-Endurance are traits, not skills. Presumably (given his title) he's a capable shuttle pilot, let's tack Mechanic on there as well, perhaps even Engineer. I still dunno for sure if I'll accept him since we're already over 12, but I may since no one else has elected to be a 2nd shuttle pilot.

Gooderngood, making Minogad a physicist is good, since we don't have one of those (aside from Averus Salamoth's generalized science training). Aside from chemistry, we have been somewhat lacking in material science.

IcyTea, still need an explanation on what a "Specialist EVA Engineer" is. Also, your alien is cool and I really want to include it, so how about "Orrs" or "Vik" for the species name?

EVA = Extra-Vehicular Activity, i.e. going outside the ship, especially in deep space.

Still thinking how to fix all those points mentioned earlier. The original species concept was "really good in space, worse in atmosphere". Too bad that is hard to realize using hard science fiction. Those names are alright, I'll consider them.

I know what EVA means, but what does it mean to specialize in EVA engineering? As in, engineering for spacewalks, or just general outside the ship stuff?

EVA engineering presumably means he's an expert in fixing, building, and dissembling things in zero-gravity and a space suit, as well as being skilled in knowing how to move around an exterior hull safely.

Yes in theory a race could. However he basically hijacked my lore. The classifications are purely AI Collective classes. So organics can understand the relative capabilities.

Not to mention the difficulty in fitting a computer that's smarter then you to the power of five in a lil itty bitty tensy tiny suit. And then there's the question of why didn't it build a ship and upload to something less fragile, even if it could fit in it.

He never said it was smarter than anything to the power of 5, he just stole the greek letter. Presumably the AI was made specifically for the suit, and you could probably fit something decently smart in there.
