Grab my gear from under the mattress and hurry over to where the others are gathering.

This should be exciting, but lets talk away from where we will bother the others trying to sleep.

Head out of the dorms towards the transit.

To Teddy-R-OOS-1 after we get out of the hab-block I reassure,
I am sure we will not be sent out on an empty stomach.

"Friend Computer, my fellow Troubleshooters Blud-R, Wellis-R and Teddy-R are speaking in voices clearly above their clearance levels. I shut my ears as soon as I realized this, but this treasonous conduct needs to be dealt with. What should I do?"

((Editing is probably not allowed in this game, so here's a double post.))

Ga-R raises his laser pistol on Joe-R, ready to shoot in retaliation if necessary.

"My most terrible apologies, Friend Computer, I meant Joe-R and not Blud-R.

Blud-R-Ain-1 stays completely silent and begins to walk to the HQ where he believes the briefing room to be located.

Reminds Blud-R-AIN-1 that we need to probably take some other form of transport.

(What options are available to us?)

"You hear colors?  Sounds like something that should be registered or maybe a temporary medical condition like Golblat-Anhauser inner ear malfunction, you should seek medical attention.  Put that gun away before you hurt yourself with it."

Joe-R stays still, looking at Ga-R with a concerned look.

A nearby terminal flashes to life, an image of an eye crackling across it.

Good morning, Troubleshooter Ga-R-LIC-1! Please take your mandatory remedial biochemical supplement.

A tray beside the terminal pops out with a cheery ping, revealing a pill shaped like a computer.

Troubleshooter Joe-R-NEY-1, you are reminded that biochemistry, medical sciences, and diagnostic fields are clearance Yellow. A reprimand will now be applied.

A clear, melodious voice rings out across the complex. Citizen Joe-R-NEY-1 disappointed His Friend The Computer today. Citizens are encouraged to gently reprimand him as he completes his mission.

Lower the gun and take the pill as a good Citizen does.

Follow the group towards the briefing room.

"Thank you for the reminder Friend Computer, I am sorry I disappointed you."

Joe-R looks up while speaking at the terminal then lowers his eyes and clenches his fists.

Head towards the nearest transit to the troubleshooter building.

5:00 AM.
Get my gear and get going. Don't want to be late.
Follow Croc to Briefing Room 44222.
Follow the rest of the group

Spoiler: IcyTea31 only (click to show/hide)

The Troubleshooters head out, sheperding the team members who are still sleepy onto a transit train. A short ride later, they scramble out of the packed carriage, and into the gargantuan main foyer of troubleshooter HQ. There is a notice on the wall, at least 10 meters high, saying "Minutes since last accident". It's been left at 0. Giant Computer screens hang suspended above the desks, arranged in a semicircle, each reading off dispatch data and occasionally announcements in clear, dulcet tones.

All around you, people are bustling, Troubleshooters on guard duty butting heads with Vulture Goons, battle-scarred veterans are heading out on missions, heavy ordinance swinging from their belts, and nervous looking R&D techies are scurrying around in bio suits. Every few minutes, there is muffled gunfire, faint screaming, or explosions shaking dust from the walls, but nobody even looks up.

Your Troubleshooter passes mean you can ignore the queues for the desks and go straight inside - but then again, you don't know where the briefing room is.

Ask the nearest person who is not in the party:
"Where is 44222-FBR?"

Check a table/shelf/whatever of forms for any that might indicate how the briefing room is labelled. Do not take any forms or fill them out yet.

5:05 AM

Ask the nearest person who is not in the party:
"Where is 44222-FBR?"

The Infrared janitor looks at you vaguely and shrugs.

Just walk on in, there should be a sign stating what room is Briefing Room 44222-FBR

You walk on in, and check the plaques on the doors. Hrm. Briefing room 00001-FBR, Briefing room 00003-FBR... Looks like you got some walking to do. The busy corridor stretches into the distance both ways, with banks of elevators to different floors.

Check a table/shelf/whatever of forms for any that might indicate how the briefing room is labelled. Do not take any forms or fill them out yet.

The briefing rooms are labelled numerically. The FBR probbably stands for the sector you're in. You refrain from taking a Troubleshooter Satisfaction Survey.
