Try and calm down the infrareds and see if there is an emergency stop or something I can activate to stop the elevator.

"Relax everyone, follow Ga-R's example and trust in Friend Computer.  Just whistle the Everything is All Right song and everything will be all right!"

Whistle along with Ga-R.

Wellis-R walks down the corridor and locates the briefing room. He waits outside the room for everybody else.

Stay calm. Maybe whistle a bit.
Try and calm down the infrareds and see if there is an emergency stop or something I can activate to stop the elevator.

Whistle along with Ga-R.

With amazing presence of mind, Joe-R leans over and slams the emergency brake, whistling furiously along with the terrified Infrareds. The elevator screams, metal grinding against metal, then slams to a halt with an almighty crash, throwing everyone into the ceiling, then a moment of curious weightlessness before cruel gravity throws them back on the floor in a trembling whistling heap.

The doors open with a "bing".
"You have reached your destination."

As Ga-R shoves a shivering worker off him, he realises he can see his hab-block from up here.

Here being the roof of Troubleshooter HQ.

Calmly leave the area to the first floor via elevator
You attempt to be calm and collected while dodging rubber bullets from a guard bot. [14] Attempt.
You make it back to the safety of the elevator, upon the cheery red floor of which you find a moment of peace, as the guardbot trundles back to the desk.
Wellis-R walks down the corridor and locates the briefing room. He waits outside the room for everybody else.
You ignore your fleeing coworker and look for the door. Down the corridor, you pass over a couple of doors with "Do Not Enter" signs, one which is mashing open and closed repeatedly, and one which buckles outwards suddenly with a WHUMPF as you pass it.

There is a neat plaque screwed into the wall next to a black metal door. You sit on the bench opposite and wait.

You stand there brainlessly as a couple of the goons prod you with batons.

"You know, maybe the briefing room number indicates the floor it's on..."

Press the "4" button on the elevator.

"Wait so no rooms out there?"

Wait inside the elevator and let Ga-R take a turn with the buttons.

"Lets go back to the first floor afterwards to report to the others if we do not find anything."

Look for signs or something of note, if there isn't anything of interest use the elevator and go one level up at a time asking staff where briefing room 44222 is located

I am required by the Friend Computer to go to briefing room 44222. However, I do not know it's location. Could you perhaps direct me there?

"You know, maybe the briefing room number indicates the floor it's on..."

This elevator doesn't have numbers on the console, it has letters(Which is how Joe-R inputted his elevator command). You remember that the sets of elevators themselves were marked with numbers, however.
Stay with the group. Elevator. Ask everyone I see where briefing room 442222 is.
You hang around while Ga-R mucks about with the controls, and ask Infrareds where 44222-FBR is. One of them ventures that it's accessed from elevator bank 4.

Look for signs or something of note, if there isn't anything of interest use the elevator and go one level up at a time asking staff where briefing room 44222 is located
You take one last look down the corridor your colleague went down, which has 4100-4500 above it, and the one on the opposite wall which reads 4501-4900.

The goon looks at you suspiciously for a while, then waves his nightstick at the elevators.
"Number 4, citizen. Mind the floors on that one.", he grunts, before heading off back to wherever he came from.

"Let's go report our progress to the others!"  Joe-R says in an excited voice.

"Would one of you infrareds want to take us back to the first floor or I can type it in myself again."

Assuming we successfully get back to the first floor, check the clearance on those Troubleshooter Satisfaction Forms and grab one if I may. Read the questions through quickly.
