Ouch. Well, let's see if we can get the workshop repaired, then get PT boat designing restarted. Also, let's call it the Zephyr Class.

As well, can I oversee other projects not related to naval engineering(specifically guns, since our gun guy left)? I am rather unhappy with the twin-mount that was produced, want it nowhere near my boats, and want the engineers to try again...

Well, unless and until hey do, what the engineers came up with is what we got, so I'll direct them to try again, and make it something actually halfway decent this time.

...What exactly is wrong with it btw? I assume by functional you mean the mount turns and the guns fire, but other details might help in diagnosing the problem

Edit: And if I get the time, start sketching the design for a light frigate/destroyer. 500 tons, lightly armored, relatively fast, around 6 machine gun mounts for AA, 2 122mm cannons, and as many torpedo tubes and reloads as can be physically stuffed onto the deck.

What, for the trip? The trip is paid for, and you guys are at almost steerage levels for transport. For the rest of the funds, its whats allotted to the department and possibly extra, if the council says so.
