((I actually was thinking about this at work today and thought of a solution to the presented question.))

"Oh, of course! We've a couple extra sets of Bulette plate... they're normally sized for our stout dwarven bodies, but one shouldn't be cured yet- we can reshape it to your form and get it to cure in time with our forge-fires. I'd assume you'd like to keep your battlefield presence- I'll send an order to blueshine it and gild it overnight once it's cured. We can also look through the reserve armory of artifacts and things that traditional dwarven tactics can't use effectively. Maybe one of you could give us a decent use for some of the contraptions we've got.

(Bulette plate: Nonmetal, +3 Full plate (Armor bonus +11), comparatively light & flexible (Max dex = +4 total), Thick hide (resist cold/fire 10), Dwarven manufacture (possible enhancements later))

Reminded about artifacts K'sal turns to his leader and requests that he inspect the sword he recovered from Nadlok.
"hmm that reminds me. What do you make of this sword? it was held by an 'onyx' demon knight named nadlok, so i assume it is somewhat powerful or at least of high quality."

((hmm... now i gotta decide if +3 AC is worth the loss of my 5 DR/magic and 10 movespeed.))

Yes! You guys can join if you'd like and the others are willing to revive this. I got suddenly busy around the time of the last post and just haven't gotten to the next post yet- I think I've got the next post/actions decided, they're just not run yet.

Of note, however, there's only maybe 1 slot in the current party, assuming our summoner/synthesis is still in.

Okay, got my sheet mostly finished. Half-Celestial Sorcerer.

I still need to decide on my 6th level spell, sort out my items, and get my backstory and character info all transferred over. I've once again defaulted to the old game of "find a decent image, then build a fun character around that and the crunch." 

As far as the template goes, PF templates always seem to not have PCs in mind, so I just went ahead and treated my class level as my HD for determining the addition to CR (+3), the DR, and the CL for the SLAs.  It's actually sort of neat, the Bloodline is covering a lot of the utility spells, the template is covering light buffing and some more utility, and the favored class option lets me choose enough spells to make a reasonable stab at being a generalist instead of a monofocused caster.

e: Since I took Craft Wondrous Item, can I roll the checks for ones I'm capable of making to get them for half price, as my character would presumably have made some of them over the course of their career?

Go ahead and craft anything you could craft while taking 10, and half your total wealth can be crafted
