Hmm, interesting... Imprisoned for jaywalking? Talk about harsh rules.

Move one to SE and then to South while keeping eye for possible traps.

Remain where I am and ready myself for possible combat, staring down the Trog with a vicious grin on my face. If he dares attack, I hurl my torch at his face when he gets close and then move in to stabby-stabby!

"....." ('Oh, Gods, what is that thing?! Ugh!')

I'm recommending that if someone didn't post their turns, they follow this ruleset:
If damagecauseseen=true
   If damagecause: damagable=true
      attack
   else
   run
else
heal
That basically means that anyone who doesn't post an action doesn't have to worry about their character just standing there and doing nothing while a zombie chews their face off... while still leaving plenty of opportunity for things to go horribly wrong if their automatic Run action has them charge straight into a hall of arrows.
And they could attack something that is some kind of dragon... and the rest? He's toast.

Yep, healing like this will take forever. So let's try out that door to the north, eh?

Turn 20
[Prev][Next]

Garrick
[INI][INI]
[AIM][DMG][RST]
[ATK][DDG][DMG][RST]
[DTH]

You ready your torch right as the Trog sees you.
It then charges you right as you throw your torch.

The Troglodyte charges right into it, soon clutching at his chest in agony, trying to get the flames off.
You take this opportunity to spear him into a kebab.

It then bleeds to death.

You do all of this with a wicked grin on your face.

You earn 8 exp (3 until level up) and the Trog drops four coins.

Picking back up your torch, you see that the door on fire is almost destroyed; one more turn or one more hit will definitely get rid of it.

Spoiler: Xvareon (click to show/hide)

Barry

You follow Grigori into the Northern door into the room with the Chest.
You then hear a cry of agony that is abruptly cut short in the Southern room.

Elements of Notice
Wooden Chest
Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Nidilap (click to show/hide)

Aoshi

You move a tile SE and spend the rest of your turn going South.

The hallway extends, ending at a single door.

Grigori
[HP+]

You go with Barry into the Northern room.
It's unlit, but you can just make out its features: a wooden chest at the NW corner, a door leading to the North immediately to its East, a door leading to the East immediately to its East, another door to the East immediately to your North, and another door on the very Western side, leading to the West.

The activity slows your healing to 7 HP this turn.

You then hear a cry of agony, abrupty cut short, coming from the Southern room.

Continue to the door, check for traps, listen what is on other side. If nothing was heard open the door. If anything was heard open the door very carefully and peek inside.

Poke the chest with my hammer to see if it isn't a dastardly mimic. If it is, bash it with hammer. If it's just a normal chest, open it and loot the contents.

Err, sure they do; but they'll get a penalty depending on its composition and shape. And you'll still need the respective skill to use a non-spear attachment; if you have an axe/spear attachment, you'll need the axe skill to use the axe, and both the axe and spear would get a slight damage reduction - the axe would block the spear from going through and the spear would block the axe from going through.
It would have slightly better damage than a sword, though, so the higher quality the better it'll be.

And I meant all the way south.
... I missed your 'to' when I read your action. I'll edit your turn tomorrow and then you can edit your action.

Tomorrow I'll poke Xvareon if he doesn't show up.

((Yeah, thanks, I've had company staying over for the past several days so I haven't really had the time or the inclination to check on this game. Thanks so much for the poke, though. ^^))

"Ha ha! Loot!" *rubs hands together*

I grab the coins, retrieve my torch (if it was put out from me throwing it, relight it from the flaming door) and then...

"YRREAGH!"

...SMASH open the weakened door with the butt of my spear! Let's see what kind of treasures they needed to keep under lock and key! If I see anyone or anything moving about on the other side, though, I remain on my side of the doorway so I can fight them one at a time in a chokepoint if they attack. I'm rather on edge right now, you understand, about things that aren't round and shiny at this point.

Turn 21
[Prev][Next]

Garrick

You pick up your four coins and smash the North door open.

It's a dimly-lit hallway. There's a door to the North, a turn to the North at the West, and a door to the East.

There's no one there.
Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Xvareon (click to show/hide)

Barry

You follow Grigori up to the Chest. He hits a few times, then opens it after a short pause.
Inside are five health potions and a wooden shield, which Grigori takes, and a quiver of thirty stone-tipped arrows, which you take.
Grigori then notices a scrap of paper, and holds it up to read. You glance over his shoulder.
You then hear a shout followed by the sound of a door being bashed down.
Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Nidilap (click to show/hide)

Aoshi

You sneak over to the door. Listening to it, you hear quite a few sounds, so you decide to peek through.
Inside is a battle between three Troglodytes seemingly guarding the West door against at least five Gretchins.
The Gretchins are using their speed well enough that even though the Troglodytes are two levels higher the Gretchins are still winning; the Trogs seem to be quite tired.

Elements of Notice
Troglodyte A, level 2
Troglodyte B, level 2
Troglodyte C, level 2
Gretchin D, level 0
Gretchin E, level 0
Gretchin F, level 0
Gretchin G, level 0
Gretchin H, level 1
Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: AoshimaMichio (click to show/hide)

Grigori

You go up to the chest and hit it a few times with your hammer.
Nothing happens, so you open it.

Inside are five health potions, thirty stone-tipped arrows, and a small wooden shield.
You hold the potions and equip the shield while Barry puts the arrows in his quiver.
You take another glance at the chest and see a scrap of paper, which was twisted and is ripped on a few lines.
You then hear a shout followed by the sound of a door being bashed down.

Throw a throwing knife at gretchin D and another at E from the the hallway while they are not watching. If they notice me and approach then run away to north and first left. Otherwise keep observing.

"Bah, and so my path becomes threefold..."

Let's start trying doors. I stand off to the side of the north door, then creak it open nice and slow, using the length of my spear if possible (so as to avoid a potential trap). If I hear anything moving inside, I remain still and prepare an ambush. If I don't, I approach the door and peer within (from the far side of the hallway I'm standing in, so as not to provoke a surprise knife thrust from around the corner of the door).
