Hereby until the 26th of October, I shall be in Europe.

The next turn is half-done, but I won't have my laptop, so please patiently wait for it.

Thank you and have a good day/week/2weeks.

Excuse the double-post, but
Turn 27
[Prev]

Garrick

Though you're not sure, it seems like Grigori has charged the enemy. Barry moves a tile South and lets loose an arrow. The only sounds that follow is a piunnn of the arrow getting wedged in something and Barry letting out a "Tch!", impatience on his face.

Now confused, you ask "What just happened?"

Barry

You see Grigori recklessly charge, and that little sting of unexpected shock makes you let loose an arrow, which misses both Grigori and Troglodyte B by mere centimeters. You let out a "Tch!" in impatience as it pegs the door behind them.

"What just happened?"

Aoshi

[ATK][F:DDG][DMG][F:RST]
[F:DTH]

You kick the door open and skewer Gretchin F, who puffs into experience and money almost instantly.
You earn 24 exp and level up (10 exp until next), and he drops four coins.

Having other things to worry about, you retreat to the North-Eastern corner.

Troglodytes B and C are still on the other side of the room.
Two more charge into your view from the North hallway, though neither of them are A.

Grigori

You charge the two Troglodytes, but they notice and dodge into the Northern room. Not a moment later, an arrow pegs the door that was behind them, and Barry lets out a "Tch!" in impatience.

"What just happened?"

Desim

[STL][PRC]

You go into super-ninja stealth mode as you slowly advance.
Your advance is stopped short as a Gretchin literally smashes his face into your chest.
It looks dazed as it bounces off.

It's so dazed it doesn't realize it bounced off you.

Element of Notice
Gretchin, level 0

Sorry for that hiatus-like delay. Hopefully it won't happen again. It probably will sometime.

Is character signups still open?

I keep reaping levels like crazy.

Deceive troglodytes to think I'm not hostile, and if that works, loot everything. Otherwise assume defensive stance: Do only counter attacks, keep my distance of enemies, and when opportunity presents itself go to northern hallway if that doesn't get me trapped between two enemies.

Stats: AGI +2, DEX +2, INT +3, STR +1, END +1, TOUGH +1
Skills: Melee +1, Dodge +2, Stealth +1

I step up 1 tile to the western door. I immediately throw the door open and charge inside (Garrick will want to get around his new friends in that cramped corridor, of course) and attack any unnamed horrors that may lie within! "DIE! DIE! DIIIIIIEEE!!"

It's RtEtD's birthday today.

Unfortunately, I think I'll have to end this here.
Since December, I've been bogged down in schoolwork, and the next semester is going to be even worse.

However, I'm thinking of starting a suggestion game with this system (which will be less work), and I'd like to hear your thoughts about this.
Be honest, please: was it fun? Interesting? Balanced? Too balanced?
Any suggestions?

I think that'd be pretty fun. Good luck with your schoolwork!

The best way to demonstrate it to him is take a save of 40 year old fortress with 150 dwarves in it on a good sized embark with a volcano that just breached the circus and install it on his gaming rig and watch it bring his rig to its knees.
