"Based on his current complacency. He probably just went along with it if they did catch him."

Kyle sighs.
"They got me after I turned myself in. I realized I was a menace to society and the ones I love. And... Through my words and deeds I disappointed God. I feel I am fortunate to have a second chance at life and I will not waste it. That, is why I'm here."

[Dwarmin]

Aeon grimaces, though she seems to have found some grim amusement in the remark.
"I suppose that fair. I don't die easy." She says cheerfully, ending with a rough voice that almost sounds military.

She then turns to Kyle, speaking in a different one-a thoughtful, melodic voice.

"Redemption is hard road. My advice? Don't look back. Keep walking..."

David turned towards the others after fitting his weapons on his person.

"A blood sucking demon who has found god? Grah hah hah! That's a twist! Do you think that your god will let you into heaven if you die for the interests of the rich fat men in America and Europe specifically? Or should we be thankful that the rich fat chinks didn't find you first?"

[~Neri]

"Hydras are notoriously hard to kill in mythology. I would hope so."

"Waaait. Does that mean you teeeechnically don't need your liver?"

[Dwarmin]

Aeon shrugs.

"As far as I know, losing my vital organs is at least...temporarily...fatal." She replies, checking her shotgun.

"Not a convenient source of infinite livers then? Oh well."

Getting no indication that his words were heard by the soldiers, Bjarke joined in on the conversation.

"You're really keen on those, huh? Well, in-case that it does happen to me, rejecting your dibs. Not that I would care much for it by then, but I do entertain the thought of being cremated, you see?"

[Dwarmin]

"I think they'll probably cremate us all, not to worry about that. Or, put us on ice.

I mean, have you heard the rumors of the things they buried here? Jersey Devil. The Laughing Man. Cataobelpas. The Null. Leviathan. Cockatrice. Roc. Loki. We'll be buried here too. Then they'll be rumors of us. An unpleasant thought, isn't it?"

"I don't intend to die."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Not your choice."
Jane spoke up for the first time, a low growl of a voice, rough with disuse.
"You die, they'll cut you up. Put you in jars for academics to stare at."

"Actually... if there are still rumours about us, then that is already far more than most of the dead will ever get, no? So, maybe a bit unnerving, but not by much. Still, I do agree that you can't really decide where not to die."

With a slight grin, he added; "Only works the other way around... Not that I would like either of these options."

[SOLDIER First]

Chiroko ignores the others and studies their own weapons.
