"Heh. I've know a lot of kids like you Ven, thinking that they can't die, that reality won't letem or that their too important or some shit. That for them there is always a way out. Shockingly, I've not seen someone for who that's true yet.

We're all going to die someday, hell, for us it's going to be sooner rather then later. All you can do is effect how you go out. And screaming and crying and begging fate you save you is one of the uglier ways that I've seen."

David said. Chuckling a bit he turned towards Jane "So how about you little miss holier then thou? Why did you join this outfit then?"

"I prefer seafood myself, smoked fish has that perfect blend of exotic texture and earthy flavor. That besides, human liver is toxic to basically anyone but you as far as I can tell. All that Vitamin A."

He examines his new found hammer, wiping off any dust it may have accumulated. as he seemingly does not notice the Back and forth banter.

"I wonder if fish have liver."

A dreamy expression adorns his face as he drifts into a fish related daydream.

[SOLDIER First]

"And yet... and yet, you act as uncivilized as though you were raised by wild animals. That hardly seems better, if you ask me."

Ignoring David, Ven responds to the speaker of fishes. "Fish have livers. Not super tasty. But they have them. Fish are tasty though."

[Criptfeind]

"Pretending you're invincible and constantly expressing your desire to eat human organs are hallmarks of civilization now?" David said to Chiroko, feigning surprise.

[SOLDIER First]

"Expressing intent not to make foolish mistakes or to get oneself in a situation one cannot handle and childish games of pretend are two vastly different things. And, if you must know, it is physically impossible for Ven not to want to eat livers, so insulting her for proclaiming it is similar to insulting a dog for wagging its tail in front of a steak."

There is a slight pause.

"No offense to you, Ven."

"None taken-"

[GiglameshDespair]

"This or a cage. Solitary confinement, life sentence. Don't care about the solitary. Care about the confinement."

[Criptfeind]

"Grah hah ha! We all have our monstery bits, I understand well the idea of a compulsion! But is she forced to constantly go on about it? A dogs tail is involuntary, and it's a dumb beast. Are you saying that Vens mouth is involuntary and she is a dumb beast? If so, I'd not disbelieve you!"

David laughs a bit to himself before addressing them again.

"And ether way, when your holding yourself above someone, saying you're more civilized, just because they don't like you, when you're the one going on about trying eat people. No matter what reasons you might have for going on about it! Is just pure hypocrisy!"

David thinks for a moment, before contuning on.

"Besides, it's not a insult. I'm just calling you a monster! Like we all are!"

He turns to Jane and nods a bit to her response to his question. "Aye."

[SOLDIER First]

"While she could definitely mention it less, there is still no reason to slander her about it. Compulsion is compulsion, regardless of whether or not you mention it."

I never said I was more civilized than anyone, if you recall. And, although eating organs may not be the most admirable thing to do, labeling someone as a cannibal and leering at them when they haven't said a single word to you because of it is hardly admirable itself."

Chiroko tenses slightly at David's last words to them.
"Do not-- Some people do not enjoy being called a monster, you know."

[Criptfeind]

"Some people are in self delusion."

Hearing Jane's answer, Bjarke chimes in on the talk.
"Good call. For all of their talk of fixing you in there, they actually do a pretty good job of driving you mad instead. Or driving you mad even further, depending on the case? Well, either way, I haven't seen many that left, and if they did, it was either on a black stretcher, or to jail."

"Orphanages are considerably worse then prisons."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Not slander if true. Eat people? Cannibal. Monster. What you are."

Hearing Jane's answer, Bjarke chimes in on the talk.
"Good call. For all of their talk of fixing you in there, they actually do a pretty good job of driving you mad instead. Or driving you mad even further, depending on the case? Well, either way, I haven't seen many that left, and if they did, it was either on a black stretcher, or to jail."

She nodded.
"Nothing but pills. Injections. Four, ten, repeating days. This is better."
