Mario Odyssey, but random parts of the floor explode and you have to start the whole game over.

Sounds like a Kaizo mod.

Stardew Valley + Opus Magnum...  Rune Factory, maybe?

Explore the areas of the Chernobyl exclusion zone, where traps are much more fatal, fights are quick and brutal affairs, and making use of the Vestal's Divine Comfort to heal death's door off of the entire team is no longer as viable as it once was because instant deaths are definitely a thing in...

The Darkest Shadow of Chernobyl (Granted, the game I played was actually Lost Alpha, but the two have their similarities and I wanted a dramatic-sounding title, ok?)

Crusader space program
that actually sounds fun
hell I'd fund that kickstarter

Sounds like a good tag-line for my average Stellaris campaign tbh.

BattleTech + Shores of Hazeron

A MMO in which players travel the Inner Sphere, settle new planets, build cities and sometimes invade neighbors to have epic battles with completely self created 'mech and warship designs.

DF and Fallout 1

Since the dawn of creation Armok had cared only for war and senseless violence. As time when on the races had only grown to hate one another more and more, the humans leading crusades against non-humans, the goblins had conquered the caverns of the world and use them as tunnels in order to increase their slave intake, the elves had mastered the arcane arts and used them in order to create sentient killing machines, and the dwarves had managed to remain somewhat neutral within the conflict only to sell arms to the highest bidder; however, nuclear division was discovered by the dwarves and they used this new discovery to build bombs. The dwarves discovery would lead to the goblins stealing schematics for nuclear missiles and the humans hijacking shipments of missiles. The conflict ended with a single attack from the goblins. Fifty missiles were launched by the goblins, then the humans retaliated with their own missiles, followed by the dwarves firing off every single missile they had stockpiled, finally the greatest elven mages cast a spell that would scorch the planet. Armok had watched the conflict and in the final moments as the world was burned in nuclear and arcane fire, and Armok smiled.

In the modern world, hundreds of years after the final attack, the few survivors kill each other for basic resources. Eventually Armok will destroy the world out of sheer boredom, but for now he will keep it alive to see if the sentients finish what they started hundreds of years ago.

Two web games:

Slope Slider (based on SkiFree): https://playcanv.as/p/fwfemJMD/
5 Minutes to Kill (Top-Down Shooter): https://5mintokill.io/

Sounds like an awesome combination. Maybe I'll make that one day.

Hmm. I don't remember the last non-DF game I played.

With apologies if this derails the thread, is Unreal World a Finnish medieval game?
In any event, any European medieval place would have saunas.

Unreal World is a survival game set in iron age Finland.

Lifeweb is a SS13 remake that is basically first person dwarf fortress mixed with cyberpunk and terrible misery and sadness and other bad sexual themes.

Honestly though, a good SS13 style game in first person would be as paranoia inducing as it would be awesome.

BATTLETECH and Stellaris, Ground invasions would be interesting for sure, fighting a Fallen Empire's 'Mechs would be tough but what would the Unbidden and the Scourge bring?
