Grand Theft Auto V and Streets of Rogue. Seems pretty easy; just take everything about Streets of Rogue and give it good 3D graphics, put it in Los Santos, and instead of elevators to a new floor of the city just put in like a safehouse that you sleep in and then the next level is the next day or something like that.

EDIT: ...I gotta be honest, this sounds like a game I would love. I'm just picturing rampaging through Los Santos as a gorilla and punching scientists through destructible buildings and it's so good that I'm sad this isn't actually a thing that exists.

If you combined the last two I played, you would get a grand-strategy game spanning from 1444 til 1936.

Rocket League + Toribash

Teams of 1-11 battle it out to score (or stop) as many goals as possible in 5 minutes. Unlimited fouling. Using an editor, you must create all the animations  for your character by controlling their joints (a la toribash), and although you will be provided working but basic stock animations the real joy of the game is creating the most effective animations as possible.

Walking, Running, and change-of-direction animations are always being used.

Shooting, passing, and ball-trapping animations are based on where the ball relative to you.

Etc. etc.

Stamina acts as the leveler between different speed/power animations.

Dying Light and Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2012).

Dying Light has a DLC with a car in it, right?

Or maybe the player is in a world where a man's car is his castle, and the player must deal with (read: run over) zombies and drive over to supply pickup points to stay alive...

Ok, I don't really know how a Mirror's Edge open-world zombie game with RPG elements can be crossed over with a open-world racing game with police and racing as the main gimmicks...

Pokemon Moon + Final Fantasy III

Battle system is pretty much identical, except that every Pokemon battle is a triple (quadruple?) battle.  The Pokemon four-move system is replaced by the Vancian-style casting of Final Fantasy, where you can equip up to three moves of a given level and use moves of that level a certain number of times before you must rest.  Finally, the storyline is a plucky kid who, with the help of their friends (two of whom include their childhood friend, an opposite-gender friend who they meet very early on, and an older veteran of Pokemon battles), must go up against a villainous team and their leader who seeks to destroy the world.  Giratina then hijacks the plot after you confront and defeat said leader, forcing you into another world to face off against and defeat it as well.

...hmmm, now I kinda want to replay Pokemon Platinum again.  Can't imagine why. :P

Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword) and Death Road To Canada.

Follow Lyn, Eliwood, Hector, and their caravan of survivors as they make the dangerous trip to Canada, hoping to find refuge and perhaps save as many as they can find along the way.

Turn-based gameplay based on scavenging, though the zombies are, of course, quite slow. Zombies also have a fairly low chance to hit, though they inflict a lot of damage if they do manage to land a bite. The zombies do not have any inherent weapon triangle advantages or disadvantages, and they count as infantry.

Everyone is an infantry unit or armored unit, because horses, wyverns, and pegasi are not as fast as cars (Usually) and wouldn't fit the setting of Death Road To Canada. Mounted units (Cavaliers and the like) get special dialogue when they meet "Horse". They are still, of course, unable to ride him.

While some weapons, like actual weapons, have as many uses as iron weapons, most weapons are actually tools and are less durable.

Vulnearies are as rare as medicine is in DRTC.

Only a few people can be sent out for scavenging, the rest stay behind and guard the caravan.

There's not a lot of exp per zombie kill, and there is a cap per each scavenging session.

More to come, soon.

Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword) and Death Road To Canada.

First of all, you. I like you.

Second of all; Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest.

Will you Defend Westown, fight for Lulukoko, make peace in Tsuyukusa? Or, do you stick in your farm, fighting off visitors from all 3 towns telling you about festivals?

Etrian Odyssey I (the Untold remake) + Factorio.

Invade a dungeon and set up a factory in it? Or create a hero factory and send them haplessly into the maws of F.O.E.s? (Not going to lie, I've seriously thought about making a game like the latter.)

Thea:The Awakening and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds:  The world is a dark and gritty place where the sun only shows through briefly once a month or so, you are sent by your gods to the holiest of battlegrounds and must scavenge through the ruins of the old world to equip yourself.  Eventually the eternal darkness closes in on all sides forcing the everyone together into a bloody brawl, and the survivor ascends to godhood using the slain combatants life-force to push back the darkness, resetting the cycle.

Battlefield 1/Overwatch

A massive team-based FPS that focuses on the battles during the Omnic Crisis, and a single map can consist of points to hold as well as a payload to escort or stop. Capturing and holding points would allow respawning closer to the objective. Which you'd still never see a Hanzo-analog on.
