Anno 2205 and Gearhead.

So, how do we beat the Aegis Overlord?  Simple, economics (i.e. tremendous overproduction and hyper-efficient layouts) and overbuilt customized mechs, the staple of all sci-fi anime warfare.

Cataclysm DDA and Rocket League. 

Build your car from scrap parts and add engines and boosters and wheels anywhere you please, to play mechanized polo with a giant soccer ball!

But be careful, the field is full of zombies and other hazards and if you are not careful you could get pulled from your car or come face to face with a tank drone!

Mercenary Kings and Wurm Unlimited.

The world (with the exception of people who enjoy GregTech of Minecraft fame) is not ready for such levels of grind.

What about a more traditional FTD (mostly water maps, based around vehicle battles, etc) but there are only the 3 factions playing in realtime on large maps, and hundreds of players playing concurrently. Maybe limit each person to either a block limit or number of vehicles (or both) based on their rank/position in their outfit equivalent.

It'd pretty much just be Elite: Dangerous with maybe a few more buttons you need to push in order to do anything.
